INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) LABORATORY ITEMS FOR 10 REGIONAL BLOOD CENTERS The Government of Pakistan has received a Financial Contribution from the Federal Republic of Germany through German Development Bank (hereinafter referred to as “KfW”), to support the improvement of blood transfusion services in Pakistan - Safe Blood Transfusion Project – for the supply of equipment for regional blood centres (hereinafter referred to as “RBC”). It is intended that parts of the proceeds of this Contribution will be applied to eligible payments under contract for procurement of Goods and Services for which this invitation for bids is issued. The bidding will be conducted in accordance to the KfW’s “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Services” and the relevant regulations of the Government of Pakistan. The bidding is open to all companies, either national or international establishments.
