INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) LABORATORY ITEMS FOR 10 REGIONAL BLOOD CENTERS The Government of Pakistan has received a Financial Contribution from the Federal Republic of Germany through German Development Bank (hereinafter referred to as “KfW”), to support the improvement of blood transfusion services in Pakistan - Safe Blood Transfusion Project – for the supply of equipment for regional blood centres (hereinafter referred to as “RBC”). It is intended that parts of the proceeds of this Contribution will be applied to eligible payments under contract for procurement of Goods and Services for which this invitation for bids is issued. The bidding will be conducted in accordance to the KfW’s “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Services” and the relevant regulations of the Government of Pakistan. The bidding is open to all companies, either national or international establishments. A partial bid is not acceptable. The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination (MoNHSRC) on behalf of the Project Executing Agencies (provincial/state Departments of Health) of Safe Blood Transfusion Project, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Laboratory Items in this repeat tender no. 1. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder upon the submission of a written request and for a non-refundable fee of Euro 30.00 or PKR 3,000.00. The written request has to clearly state the company’s name, a valid office address, a valid e-mail address and telephone number. The subject of the written request should be: Bid No: PK SBTP ICB EQ 04-2014. Bidding documents may be directly purchased from the address below, during working days from Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) following the day of advertisement.
