RESOLUTION NO. BG-2014-004
BAC FOR GOODS RESOLUTION DECLARING FAILURE OF BIDDING
FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CATERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the BASES CONVERSION AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (BCDA)
advertised the Invitation to Bid for the Supply and Delivery of Catering Services in BCDA
website, DBM Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) website
and in a conspicuous place reserved for the purpose in the premises of BCDA, continuously
for seven (7) calendar days;
WHEREAS, in response to the Invitation to Bid, two (2) prospective bidders purchased the
bidding documents namely:
1.
Meyer's Food and Services, Inc.; and
2.
La Reyna Catering
WHEREAS, on 03 March 2014 at 11:00 a.m., the scheduled opening of bids for the Supply
and Delivery of Catering Services, no bids were received by the BAC;
WHEREAS, on motion which was duly seconded, failure of bidding was declared by the
BAC and instructed the end user to revisit and/or review the terms and conditions contained
in the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the intended procurement;
WHEREAS, the members of the BAC agreed to revise the terms and conditions of the TOR,
subject to the required approvals, and thereafter conduct a re-bidding with re-advertisement
and/or posting as provided for in Section 21.2 of the revised IRR of RA 9184;
NOW, THEREFORE, We, the Members of the BAC for Goods, hereby RESOLVE, as it is
hereby RESOLVED, to recommend:
1. The declaration of FAILURE OF BIDDING for the Supply and Delivery of
Catering Services; and
2. The approval to proceed with the re-bidding of said procurement.
RESOLVED, this 3rd day of March 2014, at the BCDA Corporate Center, Bonifacio Global
City, Taguig.
