Dettleff officiated at the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. John Szlucha of Owego, are parents of the bride. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Avery of Apalachin RD 1. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a taffeta Empire A-line gown featuring a front panel edged with Venice lace. Mrs. Vonley Masters, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Miss Margaret Orsos, cousin of the bride, served, as maid of honor.
