OLEI TZION AT ALEI TZION
This Monday, 24th March, at 8pm, we will be holding our first 2014 aliyah meeting. At the meeting, the
WZO will present a "Tachles" session, which will instantly teach useful vocabulary for everyday life in Israel.
We'll also discuss the content of future sessions and the upcoming aliyah pilot trip in June. The meeting will
take place at 34 Claydon House, Holders Hill Road, NW4 1LS and supper will be provided. Please RSVP to

ALEI TZION PURIM RAFFLE
Congratulations to the winners of this year's Alei Tzion annual Purim raffle! 1st prize (iPad): Richard Herman,
2nd prize (Kindle): Dan Keene, 3rd prize (whiskey): Aryeh Sopher. Thank you to all those who took part. The
Alei Tzion Purim raffle raises several £1000s each year and is a crucial part of our ongoing fundraising
efforts. Please contact the Rabbi or any member of the Board if you would like to discuss other ways to
support the Shul, we depend entirely on the support of our members and friends.
ALEI TZION AGM
The community's AGM will be held on Sunday 11th May following Shacharit at 9.00am. The Board is looking
for more members to join. If you are considering standing for the Board or would like any more information
about what it entails, please speak to Michelle Bauernfreund or Ben Tankel. The AGM will also be an
opportunity to have input into the community's vision and strategic priorities which are currently being
developed so we look forward to seeing you all there.
PRE-PESACH LEARNING SERIES
Rabbi Roselaar is giving a series of pre-Pesach shiurim on Tuesday nights over the next few weeks:



25th March - Insights into the Hagadah - Rav Soloveitchik
1st April - Review of Hilchot Pesach and Q&A.
8th April - Insights into the Hagadah - Aruch Hashulchan, R' Shlomo Kluger and Netziv.
LEARNING AND SHIURIM



Rabbi Roselaar's Shabbat afternoon shiur will continue between Mincha and Ma'ariv and will be
looking at a sugya from the forthcoming week's Daf Yomi from Masechet Succah.
MD Spitzer's Gemara Shiur will take place this Monday at 8:45pm and will be starting the final sugya in
the perek, Teshuva.
Rabbi Roselaar's weekly Parasha Shiur will take place this Tuesday night at 9:00pm on the topic 'Insights into the Hagadah - Rav Soloveitchik.'
