Centre Manager’s Message
At Axis-Southgate we have had exciting and eventful days since our
opening on 14th September 2013. We have seen lots of new faces
arrive; pupils, parents and staff, and I personally have enjoyed getting
to meet many of you over the last few months.
Our Gold Award Tuition Centre programmes are now being delivered
to even more students across Southgate and alongside academics we
now offer a chess club as well as musical classes with guitar and saz
lessons being held in the afternoons.
Our Centre Manager:
Mr. Melih K. Keskin
Our number one priority has always been in providing the very best in
accessible and affordable education to our children - as their future is
our future. I hope to see even more new pupils register with us soon.
I would also like to offer a big thank you to all staff, students and
parents.

About Us
 Our Staff
Axis Saturday School in Ashmole Academy is part of a National charity,
The Axis Educational Trust, which provides supplementary education in
literacy, numeracy and science to school children at branches across
the UK. The Trust was founded in 1994 and it is a charity for all as
demonstrated by the fact that 56 separate ethnicities are represented
at our schools.
As we have a limited amount of time with the pupils, we make our
provision as effective as possible by using testing systems that give
pupils, teachers, and parent’s information on each child’s weakest
areas. We then build Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for each pupil to
make sure their time with us is spent effectively. Where possible, we
also use online learning resources provided by Education City and IXL
so pupils can complete homework and practice tasks at home on
engaging software.
Having an expanded provision all the way up to GCSE and A-Levels,
we are open all week at our nearby Ponders End & Tottenham centres.
