Letter to Parents - Croydon School Of Dance

Dear Students and Families
2014 Enrolments
After an exciting and successful concert in 2013, I am pleased to announce that for 2014 we will
continue to offer classes in the following styles:
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Dance Fusion, Core Strength and Flexibility,
Contemporary, Boyz Crew and Broadway.
Teachers for 2014
I am pleased to announce that all of our teachers for 2013 will be returning for 2014 with a slight
change of positions, teaching roles and classes. Please see the attached timetables for further
information, however, as a snapshot our teachers and their styles will be as follows:

Miss Jasmine and Miss Courtney are both senior students within our school who are now studying
the SFD syllabus. Both teachers will be mentored by Miss Sarah, Miss Emily and Miss Danni. Miss
Erin is a trained theatre and cabaret performer and is also a SFD qualified teacher with several years
of experience. We trust that they will all do a brilliant job and we welcome them to the CSOD team
for 2014.
Committee of Management for 2014
The CSOD annual AGM was held on Tuesday 28 January 2014 at 7.30pm at our Wyreena studio.
Please see the attached document outlining the Committee of Management for 2014.
I wish to personally thank all of our members for their continued support of the school and to also
thank our new members this year for taking that big step and joining the committee. All help is
greatly appreciated and the school would not run without the volunteers that we have!

Fees for 2014
I attach our Fee Schedule for 2014. Please note that the fees are subject to change and will be
reviewed throughout the year.
Timetables for Arrabri and Wyreena
I attach the proposed Timetables for 2014. Please note that the timetables may change slightly
depending on the number of enrolments. Our teachers have worked together to try to prevent as
little clashes for those students dancing at 2 studios within the one day.
Studio Locations
Classes will continue to be held at our 2 studios –
Catamore Hall, Wyreena and Arrabri Community Arts Centre.
