Registration Instructions:
* You must submit a separate completed registration form for each item entered in the show.
* Your entry forms must be received by August 30, 2014.
* Registration check made payable to Wiltwyck Quilters Guild must accompany your entry forms.
WQG Members: $6.00 for each quilt to be Judged, $4.00 for each Display only quilt
Non-Members: $8.00 for each quilt to be Judged, $6.00 for each Display only quilt
* A printed photograph for each entry MUST accompany the entry form (no slide or digital format, please).
* A signed appraisal by a certified appraiser verifying quilt’s value if you wish to establish the value as being
higher than the allotted insurance (see below).
* Include a self-addressed, stamped business size envelope with your registration forms.
* Your signature is required on all quilt registration forms.
Requirements:
* Quilts must have at least a 4” sleeve on the back for hanging.
* No framed pieces will be allowed.
* Quilts must be in good condition and clean.
* Quilts made from kits that include fabric, antique quilts, or non-quilted wearables will not be judged.
* You may not enter more than two items in one single judged category. This excludes Display only entries.
* WQG reserves the right to limit number of quilts entered due to space limitations.
* In order for the quilt to be judged, it must have been made by the entrant.
* A muslin “quilt number” label will be sent to you with your registration receipt. This label is to be sewn to
the bottom right hand corner on the back. More information will be sent with your receipt.
* The guild will not be responsible for any breakable embellishments that you may have on your quilt (for
example, glass beads, feathers, etc.).
WQG will provide the following “Standard Insurance Coverage” for your entry:
* $600.00 for quilts 70” and greater on the short side
* $300.00 for quilts less than 70” and greater than 24” on the shortest side
* $150.00 for quilts 24” or less on the shortest side and wearables
If you desire more than “Standard Coverage,” please be certain to include your quilt on your homeowner’s
policy or to secure additional insurance through your insurance agent.
Registrars and the quilt show chairs have the right to place quilts in the correct category if they have been
incorrectly registered by the quilter. For any questions about your registration, call Shirley Swenson at
