Please read through all of the instructions
before you begin your project.
Fabric Requirements:

Cutting Instructions:
Please read all instructions carefully before beginning.
All seams are a scant ¼” which is included in all
measurements unless otherwise stated. Cut pieces in
order listed. Label all pieces. Refer to all illustrations
and the quilt image for proper cutting and assembly.
* wof = width of fabric, lof =length of fabric.
Fabric A - Holiday Panel (24910-Bei1)
1. Fussy cut center panel 21-1/2" x 40-1/2”.
Label: “center”.
Fabric B – Holiday Shelf (24912-Bei1)
1. Fussy cut (2) 4 1/2” x 31” strips. Begin
cutting 1/4" below the base of the
snowmen and then measure up 4 1/2".
Label: “Border 2-top/bottom”. (TIP: If
desired, use one snowman strip and one
Santa strip. Just make sure to cut both
strips 4 1/2" x 31”.)
of trees so it won’t be so obvious.) Cut
this strip to 4 1/2" x 42”. Repeat for a
total of 2 strips. Label: “Border 2, sides”
Fabric E – Holiday Floral, red (24918-Red1)
1. Cut (2) strips 1 1/4” x 23”. Label:
“Border 1 top/bottom”.
2. Cut (2) strips 1 1/4” x 40 1/2”. Label:
“Border 1 sides”.
3. Cut (2) strips 2 3/4" x 35 1/2”. Label:
“Border 3 sides”.
4. Cut (3) strips 2 3/4" x wof. Cut one strip
in half and sew one half to one end of
each of the remaining strips to make (2)
longer strips. Cut these new pieces to
measure 2 3/4" x 50". Label: “Border 3
sides”.
Fabric F – Holiday Floral, green (24918-Gre1)
1. Cut (6) strips 2” x wof. Sew (3) strips
together to form 1 long strip. From this
strip, cut (1) piece 2” x 49 1/2” and (1)
piece 2” x 65 1/2". Repeat with the final
(3) strips. Label the (2) 2” x 49 1/2"
pieces: “Border 5, top/bottom. Label
the (2) 2” x 65 1/2” pieces: “Border 5,
sides”.
2. Cut (6) strips 2 1/2" x wof and set aside
for the binding.
Fabric G – Holiday Snowflakes (24917-Cre1)
1. Cut (1) piece 54” x 42”. Cut (1) piece of
fabric 54”x 35 1/2”. Sew together to
form a piece that measures 54” x 77” for
the backing.
Piecing Instructions:
Fabric C – Tossed Holiday (24913-Cre1)
1. Cut (2) lengthwise strips 6” x 35 1/2"
and label: “Border 4, top/bottom”
2. Cut (4) strips 6” x lof. Sew (2) strips
together to form (1) long strip. Cut (1)
6” x 65 1/2” piece. Repeat for a total of
(2) strips.
Label: “Border 4, sides”.
Fabric D – Holiday Tree Stripe (24915-Bei1)
1. Cut (6) lengthwise strips 4 1/2" x lof.
Sew (3) strips together to form (1) long
strip. (TIP: try piecing in between the rows

accurately place the pieces. Pay careful attention to the
directionality of the fabric.
1. Sew one “Border 1, sides” piece to each
side edge of the center panel.
2. Sew one “Border 1, top/bottom” piece to
the top edge and one to the bottom
edge of the center panel.
3. Sew one “Border 2, sides” piece to each
side edge of the quilt making sure to
check the direction of the fabric.
4. Sew one “Border 2, top/bottom” piece to
the top edge and one to the bottom
edge of the quilt, again making sure to
check the direction of the fabric.

5. Sew one “Border 3, sides” piece to each
side edge of the quilt.
6. Sew one “Border 3 top/bottom” piece to
the top edge and one to the bottom
edge of the quilt.
7. Sew one “Border 4, top/bottom” piece to
the top and one to the bottom edge of
the quilt.
8. Sew one “Border 4, sides” piece to each
side edge of the quilt.
9. Sew one “Border 5, top/bottom” piece to
the top edge and one to the bottom
edge of the quilt.
10. Sew on “Border 5, sides” piece to each
side edge of the quilt.
Finishing:
1. Layer the quilt top with the batting and
backing and quilt as desired.
2. Trim the backing and batting even with
the quilt top.
3. Sew the binding strips end to end with a
diagonal seam to form one long strip.
4. Press the strip in half, lengthwise,
wrong sides together.
5. Sew to the quilt front, matching the raw
edges of the binding with the edge of
quilt and sew, mitering the corners.
6. Turn the binding to the back and stitch
in place.

3
