PROJECT BASED VOUCHER 2015 LOTTERY OPENING
INFORMATION
Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) hereby gives notice of the opening of the Project Based Voucher (PBV)
Waitlist Lottery for available units approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for
the Project Based Voucher Program at the Suites Supportive Housing Community and Aspen Meadows
Neighborhood. The Project Based Voucher Lottery will be open to accept lottery entries from Tuesday,
February 24, 2015 at 9:00 am through Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 4:30 pm.
Project Based Voucher assistance is federally funded and governed by HUD and is designed to provide rental
assistance to low-income households seeking affordable housing. The Project Based Voucher Program
assistance is attached to a single unit and cannot be transferred to a different unit or another Housing
Authority’s jurisdiction. Please note that this is site-based assistance. Vouchers are only applicable to specific
properties.
The Lottery Entry Form will be available from Tuesday, February 24, 2015 to Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the
LHA Administrative Office, 1228 Main St., Longmont, CO and on the LHA website, www.longmontha.com.
Completed Entry forms may be submitted by email to [email protected], fax to (303) 682-2899, in person
or by mail to LHA Administrative Office at 1228 Main St. Longmont, CO and must be received by our office or
postmarked on or before February 26, 2015.
To submit an Entry Form, entrants must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen, or have legal residency status
(lawful presence) and have legal capacity to enter into a lease under state and local law. The Lottery Entry Form
must be complete. Incomplete forms will be voided. Only one Entry form may be submitted per household.
All qualified Entry forms will be entered into the Lottery Pool. A copy of the Entry Form will be mailed to the
address on the Entry Form. Each entrant must keep a copy of the Entry Form. Entries will be selected at
random by a computer generated database. Priority shall be given to Entrants who are current residents, (inplace families) and applicants on current waitlists of the Project Based Sites; The Suites and Aspen Meadows
Neighborhood. A Local Preference will be given to Entrants who live or work in Longmont. Entrants selected
from the Lottery Pool will be notified by mail to determine eligibility as Project Based Vouchers become
available.
Longmont Housing Authority does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status

activities. All entries received will have an equal chance of being randomly selected by a computer generated
process, regardless of the date and time in which they are submitted.

Apertura de Sorteo 2015 del Programa de Vales Basados en Proyectos
INFORMACION
La Agencia de Vivienda Pública de Longmont (LHA) da aviso de la apertura del Sorteo del Programa de Vales
Basados en Proyectos para las unidades aprobados por el Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano (HUD)
en las propiedades, The Suites Supportive Housing Community y Aspen Meadows Neighborhood. El Sorteo
estará abierto para aceptar formularios de inscripción a partir de las 9:00 am el día martes, 24 de febrero, 2015
hasta las 4:30 pm jueves, 26 de febrero 2015.
El programa de Vales Basados en Proyectos es financiado por el Gobierno Federal y por HUD y está diseñado
para proporcionar asistencia de renta para familias de bajos ingresos que buscan viviendas alcanzables. La
asistencia del Programa de Vales Basados en Proyectos está limitada a propiedades específicas y no puede ser
transferido a otra unidad o Agencia de Vivienda Pública. Tenga en cuenta que esta asistencia es aplicable a
propiedades específicas.
El formulario de Inscripción estará disponible comenzando el Martes, 24 de febrero, 2015 hasta el jueves 26 de
febrero 2015 en la Oficina Administrativa de LHA, 1228 Main Street, Longmont, CO y se lo puede descargar
desde el sitio web de LHA www.longmontha.com. Se puede entregar formularios completos por medio de
correo electrónico a [email protected], por fax a (303) 682-2899, en persona o por correo a la Oficina
Administrativa de LHA, 1228 Main Street, Longmont, CO 80501. Formularios tiene que ser recibidos por nuestra
oficina o posfechado no pasado el jueves, 26 de febrero, 2015.
Para entregar un Formulario de Inscripción al Sorteo se requiere tener un mínimo de 18 años, ser ciudadano
estadounidense, o tener residencia legal y poseer capacidad legal para entrar a un contrato de vivienda bajo la
ley local y estatal. El formulario de inscripción tiene que ser completo. Formularios incompletos serán anulados.
Solo se entrega un formulario por hogar.
Todos los formularios de inscripción calificados serán introducidos en el Sorteo. Una copia del formulario de
inscripción se enviara por correo a la dirección que aparece en el formulario. Cada participante deberá
conservar una copia del formulario de inscripción. Los formularios serán seleccionados al azar de la base de
datos para generar la lista de espera. Se dará prioridad a los Participantes que son residentes actuales o han
aplicado previamente para las propiedades, The Suites Supportive Housing Community y Aspen Meadows
Neighborhood. Además, se usa una preferencia local para participantes que trabajan o viven en Longmont. Los
Participantes seleccionados del sorteo serán notificados por correo para determinar la elegibilidad cuando se
hacen disponibles vales basados en proyectos (PBVs)
