As I walked through the hallways and visited classrooms this past week, I was so moved by the deep joy and love that was felt by our students and staff members. There are so many joyous things happening in our classrooms and throughout our school such as fun and interactive biography units, students rocking it out to two digit addition, students comparing geometric shapes to real-world shapes like tall buildings, students getting creative with learning to count money, students creating rap songs to memorize their sight words, student meeting/exceeding their goals on their online programs in the Learning Lab, students actively participating in word contractions games in class as well as students successfully naming their letter sounds in class! I encourage you to ask your child about the many amazing things that are happening at school that is creating lots of joy and love in their heart daily. He is from Grand Rapids, Michigan but relocated to Nashville two years ago with his wife and two daughters.
