There will be only 30 ad
placements available and
will be made available on a
first-come first-served basis for both St.
Patrick's and St. Vincent de Paul Parishes.
The cost of the ads will be $125 for a oneyear term - approximately 46 weekly bulletin

ADVENT CHORAL SERVICE…
St. Vincent de Paul Choir
will be performing along
with other churches from
Mitchell
on
Sunday,
November 30th at Knox
Presbyterian Church at 2:30 p.m. Come out
and join them for an afternoon of Christmas
music. A donation to the Food Bank would
be appreciated.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CWL…
St. Vincent de Paul CWL
Memberships ($20) are being
collected at the entrance of the
church this month by Brenda
Biggelaar, Barb Groot or Mary
Sanders. Consider becoming a member. First
time members will have their membership
paid for, for one year. THANK YOU to
those who have already submitted their
membership fees.
KINKORA CWL NEWS…
St. Patrick’s Kinkora CWL will
hold its next meeting on Wed.
December 3rd at 7:30 p.m. at
the Kinkora Community Centre.
We will be preparing Christmas tins. All
ladies welcome!
Kinkora CWL Memberships ($20) are being
collected by Rose Snyders this month. Thanks
to those who have already submitted their
membership fees!

Kinkora: Reg. env. $1,437.00, loose $60.00,
Thanksgiving Appeal $490.00. This week
there were 36 regular envelopes with an
average donation of $39.92.
Mitchell: Reg. env. $2,895.00, loose $65.00,
Building Fund $325.00. This week there
were 53 regular envelopes with an average
donation of $54.63.

ANGEL TREE…
The Sunday school students have made
angels for the “Angel Tree” at St. Vincent de
Paul Church. Please take an angel from the
tree and buy a gift for the designated age by
December 7th. You will be helping a less
fortunate child this Christmas.

sponsored by Mitchell area churches will be
held on Monday, December 8th at 5:30
p.m. at the Mitchell Community Centre.
Pick up your free tickets at the Salvation
Army Thrift Store. A free will offering will go
towards the Christmas Toy Drive and Youth
Unlimited.

St. Vincent de Paul CWL

beginning with Mass at
6:00 p.m. and dinner and

TREE OF PROMISE 2014…
MANY THANKS to everyone who helped
to make our 9th Annual Tree of Promise
celebration such a special event. We
remembered over 200 loved ones and
through your generosity raised over $3000
for various charities. Special thanks to Fr.
Brian for offering such a beautiful mass, to
Frank Verberne for his solemn rendition of
names, to all those who helped out and to all
those who braved the weather to join us!
Once again, it was a very special evening.

AN INVITATION…
On December 5/6 we are hosting once again
a vigil on poverty. The theme is as in all past
years “Why did Jesus say the poor will
always be with us?” It begins at 7:00 p.m.
Friday evening and goes to 9:30 a.m.
Saturday morning. You will need a sleeping
bag, pillow, and a change of clothes as we
are playing combat games outside. Please

Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7:00 p.m. we are hosting
our first “Barn Mass". It will be held at Bill
and Connie Devereaux’s farm 43301 Hydro
