2014 FEBRUARY NEW REGISTERED DIETITIAN! Old Dominion University welcomes a new Registered Dietitian, Tracy Conder! She is from Baltimore, Maryland but has lived most of her life in the Richmond/Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She graduated from James Madison University and received a General Dietetics degree. Tracy has 19 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and is not only certified as that, but as a Sports Specialist Dietitian as well. Tracy’s past experiences include cooking classes for the Norfolk Admirals and consultations for local athletes at the Tidewater Performance Center. She specializes in metabolism for weight management and sports. Tracy joined Old Dominion University towards the end of last fall semester and has had an opportunity to familiarize herself with the campus. Her position here at the university is a collaboration between Student Health Services, Recreation and Wellness and Monarch Dining. Tracy is a resource for students interested in making healthy choices that lead to improved well-being. She provides free individual consultations to students for issues such as weight management, vegetarian/vegan diets, food allergies/intolerances, sports nutrition, and disordered eating.
