NEW REGISTERED DIETITIAN!
Old Dominion University welcomes a new Registered Dietitian, Tracy Conder!
She is from Baltimore, Maryland but has lived most of her life in the
Richmond/Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She graduated from James
Madison University and received a General Dietetics degree. Tracy has 19
years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and is not only certified as that,
but as a Sports Specialist Dietitian as well. Tracy’s past experiences include
cooking classes for the Norfolk Admirals and consultations for local athletes
at the Tidewater Performance Center. She specializes in metabolism for
weight management and sports.
Tracy joined Old Dominion University towards the end of last fall
semester and has had an opportunity to familiarize herself with the campus.
Her position here at the university is a collaboration between Student Health Services, Recreation and Wellness and
Monarch Dining. Tracy is a resource for students interested in making healthy choices that lead to improved well-being.
She provides free individual consultations to students for issues such as weight management, vegetarian/vegan diets, food
allergies/intolerances, sports nutrition, and disordered eating. Visit our “Ask the Dietitian” webpage for more information.

YOUR VOICE COUNTS
Monarch Dining is always looking for ways to improve the dining program. We value
our customers’ feedback and offer many ways for you to voice your questions and/or
concerns. One way you can voice your opinions is through our
Your Voice Counts survey. Your Voice Counts allows you
to provide feedback on your own terms. You access the
survey independently to tell us about your experience
with us. We try to understand your satisfaction in
three key areas: value, service, and quality. Visit www.campusdiningvoice.com now to
tell us what’s working, or if there’s anything we can improve. The survey only takes a
few minutes to complete!
If you’re looking for other communication avenues, you may email us at
[email protected], send us messages on our social media pages, send texts about our
residential dining locations through our Text & Tell platform, visit the Dining website to
complete a Dining Evaluation for any of our locations, or even speak directly to a location’s manager. So, how can we
make your experience better?
Da-da-da-dah Da-dah...CHARGE!
Yes, it’s time to charge...charge up your flex points! If you have a meal plan, now is the time to add more flex points.
Students can purchase additional flex points, in $50 increments, at any time throughout the semester. However, from
February 10-23, your account will receive FREE $10 flex points for every $100 flex points you add-on. Flex points are
accepted at all of the 19 Monarch Dining locations on campus and are TAX-FREE! Why pay tax at your favorite dining
spots like Panda Express, Chick-fil-A, Subway, and Starbucks? Visit the Card Center’s website at www.odu.edu/cardcenter
to charge up your flex points!
Use your flex points at these locations. View this map on
your phone or computer by visiting our website and
