degree for adult learners who work in the human services field. The program’s adult-centered
adult
approach
maintains high academic standards, while offering a personal academic plan
plan-of-study
study for each student. The

the BHS/FLEX
FLEX Program. All required core courses and major requirements have been incorporated, with minor
modifications, to accommodate the mature student with work-related experience.
Prospective students must be currently employed in human services with at least one year of work experience in
the field. Credits earned from previous academic studies, life
life-learning
learning experiences, and professional experience
will allow the student to apply for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit toward the undergraduate degree.

BHS/FLEX
FLEX Program serves as an accelerated bachelor’s degree program. Students who
transfer more than 60 approved credit hours from another institution must meet the residency requirement of at
least 24 credit hours, including 15 credits in human services major subjects.
Students can meet the requirements of The Lincoln University core curriculum and the human services major by
taking university
niversity courses, passing College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests, and preparing professional
portfolios and presentations and/or examinations documenting prior learning using The Council for Adult and

academic transcripts from regionally accredited academic institutions with a grade of C or better. To meet
graduation requirements, students will need to successfully satisfy coursework inclusive of core courses, major
