Global Entrepreneurship Thailand GEW Forum
at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Conference Hall

This November 17th -23rd , over 150 countries will come together
to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week. Over 35,000 events
will be happening on that one week around the world and
Thailand is poised to showcase Thai entrepreneurial talents and
the organizations that support them.
GET in partnership with Thai-BISPA and NSTDA, presents the GEW
Thailand Forum to focus on Entrepreneurship in the AEC era and
examine what it takes to help increase the number of Thai
startups and small businesses to scale up.
Attending the forum are community leaders, entrepreneurs,
business chambers, universities and interest groups. GEW
Thailand as a not-for-profit global movement will unite the Thai
and international community with the mission to use
entrepreneurship to improve human welfare and economic
advancements in Thailand, irrespective of political and religious
differences.

H.E . Piyabutr Cholvijarn
is President of the Kenan Institute Asia and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trade of
Thailand. He has served with distinction in the finance and banking industry and in a variety of important government posts,
including that of Deputy Minister of Industry, Vice Minister of Education and Vice Minister of Commerce. Intensely interested
in education, H.E. Piyabutr has lectured at the Royal Military Academy, the Judicial Training Institute and the Kasetsart
University MBA program.
Dr Wimonkan Kosumas
is the Acting Director of the Office of the Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion
Agency (OSMEP ) under the office of the Prime Minister . OSMEP plays a key role in figuring out SME promotion strategies
and policies and serves as a center of coordination between the public and private sectors to promote strong and
sustainable SME growth.
Dr. Dennis Cheek
is the founding Executive Director of the National Creativity Network (NCN), a US-based
international nonprofit that promotes the skillful application of imagination, creativity and innovation to positively
transform culture, commerce, education, and government throughout North America.
He also co-chair and co-founded Global Creativity United, a global organization promoting creativity and creative economies
in over 150 nations and is a widely acknowledged global expert on entrepreneurship education and has advised
governments, school systems, and universities within numerous countries.
Mr Stanley Kang
is the Chairman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT), an umbrella body
with 30 chambers and business associations representing almost 9,000 companies. JFCCT’s mission is to promote trade
and foreign investment, encourage skills development and transfer with the overall aim of contributing to the Thai
economy .
