Headlines …
Ashlyns on form An impressive total of
16 students from Ashlyns School took part
in last Sunday’s Berkhamsted Fun. Successes
included overall third place for Emily Alderson,
women’s 16th place for Molly Jarvis, Y9, and
first boy home for Ashlyns, Jake Alderson. The
girls also scooped £250 in prize money for
being the first four students from the same
school to finish the run. Well done to all of our
students and thank you to Catherine Davies for
inspiring them to take part in the event.
Ashlyns’ Arts Week Drawing on our rich history in musical
theatre and concert performances, this year we will be staging
a variety of smaller events. Running from 17 to 21 March, Arts
Week will celebrate and showcase established and emerging
talents across a range of art forms, including some that are often
overlooked. More details can be found on our Arts Week flyer.
Science revision Click here for the schedule for times, topics and locations
of all revision sessions being run by the Science Faculty from Spring half-term
to Summer half-term.
Years 10 and 11 students are welcome to all relevant sessions. Additional
Science is for Year 11 and Year 10 Triple students only. Core Science is for
all Year 10 GCSE students and those Year 11 students who take Science A
(Core Science).
Year 11 students should pick their topics carefully in order to make the most
of all revision sessions which are running across their subjects.
