Bulletin - Redeemer Lakeland

What is the Gospel?
The gospel is news rather than instruction. The gospel is grace rather than merit. The gospel is reversal of the weak and the strong. Redeemer’s Vision:
•
Calling people to authentic relationships with Christ and one another.
•
Building a community of hope, healing, joy and worship.
•
Sending one another into the world to share the good news of Christ. Song of Gathering and Preparation
We prepare our hearts, minds and bodies for worship by singing
about the God we serve.
Famous One
© 2002 Chris Tomlin, worshiptogether.com (EMI) CCLI #3599431
You are the Lord, the famous One, famous One
great is Your name in all the earth
The heavens declare You're glorious, glorious
great is Your fame beyond the earth
And for all You've done and yet to do
with every breath, we're praising You
Desire of nations and every heart
You alone are God, You alone are God

done until the benediction.

Come Ye Sinners
Words Joseph Hart, 1759, Tune Indelible Grace (igracemusic.com). CCLI #1299084
Come Ye Sinners, poor and wretched
Weak and wounded, sick and sore
Jesus ready, stands to save you, full of pity joined with power
He is able, He is able, He is willing, doubt no more
Come ye needy, come and welcome
God’s free bounty glorify
True belief and true repentance, every grace that brings you
nigh
Without money, without money, come to Jesus Christ and buy
Come ye weary, heavy laden
Bruised and broken by the fall
If you tarry till you’re better, you will never come at all
Not the righteous, not the righteous, sinners Jesus came to call
Let not conscience make you linger
Nor of fitness fondly dream
All the fitness He requireth, is to feel your need of Him
This He gives you, this he gives you, it‘s the Spirit’s rising
beam
Lo! the Incarnate God ascended
Pleads the merit of His blood
Venture on Him, venture wholly, let no other trust intrude
None but Jesus, none but Jesus, can do helpless sinners good
None but Jesus, none but Jesus, can do helpless sinners good

Here I Am To Worship
Tim Hughes, © 2000 Thankyou Music (Admin. by EMI Christian Music Publishing)
CCLI# 3266032
Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness
Open my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You
Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're all together lovely, all together worthy
All together wonderful to me
King of all days, oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're all together lovely, all together worthy
All together wonderful to me
I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross
I'll never know how much it cost to see my sin upon that cross
I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross
Here I am to worship, here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're all together lovely, all together worthy
All together wonderful to me

How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
©1995 Kingsway's Thankyou Music, Words and Music by Stuart Townend. CCLI #1558110
How deep the Father's love for us
how vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
to make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
the Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
bring many sons to glory
Behold the Man upon a cross
my sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
I will not boast in anything
no gifts, no pow’r, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
Jesus keep me near the cross
there a precious fountain
Free to all a healing stream
flows from Calvary's mountain
Near the cross O Lamb of God
bring its scenes before me
Help me walk from day to day
with its shadows o'er me

Behold the Lamb
© 2007
Thankyou Music, Keith Getty, Kristyn Getty, Stuart Townend, CCLI#5003372
Behold the Lamb who bears our sins away
Slain for us and we remember
The promise made for all who come in faith
Find forgiveness at the cross
So we share in this Bread of Life–and we drink of His sacrifice
As a sign of our bonds of peace - around the table of the King
The body of our Savior Jesus Christ,
Torn for us - eat and remember
The wounds that heal, the death that brings us life
Paid the price to make us one
So we share in this Bread of Life–and we drink of His sacrifice
As a sign of our bonds of love - around the table of the King
The blood that cleanses every stain of sin,
Shed for us – we drink and remember
He drained death’s cup that all may enter in
To receive the life of God
So we share in this Bread of Life–and we drink of His sacrifice
As a sign of our bonds of grace - around the table of the King
And so with thankfulness and faith we rise
To respond, - and to remember
Our call to follow in the steps of Christ
As His body here on earth
As we share in His suffering - we proclaim Christ will come again!
And we’ll join in the feast of heaven - around the table of the King
Celebration of the Lord’s Supper
Benediction
The Pastor raises his hands to remind us that because the hand of
God’s wrath was raised against Jesus, we are able to receive the
hand of God’s blessing as we are sent out to live our lives to the glory
of God.
