Yokohama National University Global-Local Education and Research Center 横浜国立大学地域実践教育研究センター YOKOHAMA 地域実践教育研究センターの活動 Activities of the Global-Local Education and Research Center 経済のグローバル化が進むなかで、日本の経済活動の場は地球大に広がっています。他方、日本経済の活力の源泉は地域であり、地域が活き活きとしていなければ、経済も活性化できません。同時に地域は、人々の生活の場でもあります。経済発展の成果は、地域における生活の豊かさに結実して初めて意味を持ってきます。しかし、現在、日本の地域は、地域政策の問題もあり、地域再生、都市再生の必要性が叫ばれる状況にあります。いま求められているのは、自ら地域資源を発掘し、諸資源の連携を組織し、グローバル化に柔軟に対応しつつ豊かな生活を創出する力を養うことです。これを地域創造力と呼ぶならば、本センターの役割は、地域創造力にかかる体系的研究を基礎としながら、学部・大学院レベルの教育と地域の人々のリカレント教育を通じて、地域創造の担い手を養成していくことと考えられます。地域再生を願う地域の方々と協力しながら、この目標に向かって全力で取り組んでいきたいと思います。 While the world is progressing toward economic globalization, the Japanese economy is also expanding internationally. The power of the Japanese economy comes from local communities, and our economy will not grow without the development of local communities. These local communities represent the places where people live. Economic development in Japan becomes meaningful once it provides prosperity to each community. However, in the current situation, these communities face various problems caused by Japanese regional policies, and they are in need of local revitalization and urban regeneration. Therefore, by generating local resources and by focusing on organizing the cooperative use of these resources within the communities, we can create a way of thinking that accelerates the movement toward globalization by Japanese communities and provide prosperity for everyone in the communities. The purpose of our center is to educate students in this way of thinking, which we call the creative faculties of local communities, by providing them undergraduate and graduate level studies and continuing education on the creative faculties of local communities via systematic basic studies, and as a result, create future community developers. This program trains students to solve local challenges with a global perspective and acquire advanced, integral, practical skills. 実践力をつける地域交流科目は、「教育学」「経済学」「経営学」「理工学」が連携して各学部領域を横断する、グローバルな視野をもって地域課題を解決できる先端的かつ複合的な実践能力を身につける副専攻プログラムです。当カリキュラムの①「地域連携と都市再生」4単位、②「選択必修科目」 4単位、 ③ 「地域課題実習」2単位の計10単位を修得すると、副専攻プログラムの修了証を申請できます。「地域課題実習Ⅰ・Ⅱ」 Local-exchange Subjects connects independent subjects from all departments to train students as young talent who can solve local challenges with a global perspective. This program consists of ① Local Cooperation and Urban Regeneration, four credits; ② optional compulsory subjects, two credits; ③ Local Challenges Training, two credits. On completion of these ten credits through attendance and participation, the student will be awarded a completion certiﬁcate for the accredited sub-major program. 2単位専門力を養う選択必修科目各専門領域を超えて広い視野を養う地域交流コア科目「地域連携と都市再生 A・B」教育：大学院副専攻プログラム「地域創造科目」 Education: Graduate sub-major program [Creative education program about local problems] 関連科目都市・居住環境論地域・都市環境計画論都市基盤と地域開発等 This program trains students to ﬁnd and develop their own specialties in the local subject in which solutions are complicated and difﬁcult. 専門領域に基盤を持ち理論的に問題を捉えながらも、学際的な課題把握能力を有し、かつ総合的に解決できるような人材を育成するための高度な教育プログラムです。当カリキュラムの①必修コア科目（2単位）と②選択必修科目（6単位）のの計8単位を修得すると、副専攻プログラムの修了証を申請できます。 This is an advanced educational program for training students who can theoretically solve the local subject in which solutions are complicated and difﬁcult on the basis of each ﬁeld. This program consists of ① a compulsory core subject, two credits, and ② optional compulsory subjects, six credits. Our center will promote studies and projects that relate to the local areas through the interdisciplinary relationship with Yokohama National University. 住みたい都市 / Livable City 防災・復興に関する研究 / The study about the disaster prevention and revive 地球環境未来都市 / The Future City Design Corresponding to Global Environment Problems 人々が住みたいと感じる都市をめざして、世界の「住みたい災害に強い地域づくりを目標に、防災に関する研究や、地球環境に対応した未来都市の計画・デザインの方法都市」に学ぶとともに、21 世紀の地域での新しい住まい方や地域の脆弱な部分を事前に克服させる事前復興計画におよび未来都市像を明らかにする研究を、ITプラット働き方に関する研究や実践プロジェクトを行っています。関する研究を、地域と連携して行っています。フォームの構築を元に、体系的・実践的に取り組んでいます。 This project aims to create a city where we would like to live. We will research and practice how to live and work and acquire knowledge from other global cities. This project will research and practice disaster prevention and preparedness measures for disaster reconstruction. The mission of this project is to clarify the overall planning and design method for a future city corresponding to the global environment on the basis of an IT platform. ＊上記は、当センターにて推進している主な学際的な研究プロジェクトです . / The above-mentioned contents are the main interdisciplinary research projects in our center. 地域支援 Support for local communities 市民、事業者・NPO、そして行政と連携し、地域課題の解決や将来の地域ビジョンを一緒に考えます . We will solve local problems and consider the vision of local areas, together with the citizens, corporations, NPOs, and the public administration of the area. 地域実践教育研究センターでは、市民、事業者・NPO、そして地域の行政と連携することを通じて、地域支援を目的とした教育プログラムや研究プロジェクトを行っています。市民、事業者・NPO を対象とした「外部評価モニター・外部協力委員」制度では、当センターから地域に関する情報や知見の提供、そして交流の機会を提供しています。各地域の行政方へは、当センターとの「包括連携協定」による柔軟かつ強力な連携関係の制度を設けています。 Our center offers educational programs and research projects in cooperation with local citizens, corporations, NPOs, and the public administration of the area. Our center has two primary cooperative systems: one is a monitor and cooperation system for local citizens, corporations, NPOs; and the other is an agreement system with the public administration of the area. These systems will be developed under a ﬂexible and powerful relationship.
