・University of Sheffield Summer Program ・UC San Diego Summer Program 1 University of Sheffield / UC San Diego Summer Program 東大生向けにカスタマイズ ●ターゲット：学部学生。語学力に不安があり一般の授業履修型サマープログラムへの参加は難しいが、海外大学でのアカデミックな環境を体験したい。TOEFL iBTで65～80目安 ●趣旨： ①積極的に当該地域の文化・社会を体感する。②著名な教授陣から多様なトピックの講義を受講する。③英語学習クラス、教授陣等からの講義・セミナーを通じて英語に慣れる。④将来の長期留学や海外でのキャリア形成等に向けた動機づけ。 ●期間： 2週間（英語に慣れること、海外学生との交流、当該地の社会を知る、いずれも各個人の積極的なアプローチ重要！）注：留学模擬体験、本格的な留学等への動機付けという目的で、東大生が集団で参加するプログラムであるため、海外経験が豊富な学生や、英語力に自信があり海外大学の一般的なサマースクール（通常の講義・授業）を希望する学生向けではない。また、現地学生、他国の留学生と接する機会はあるが、夏休み期間中のプログラムであり交流は限定的になる場合があるため留意すること。 2 University of Sheffield Summer Program ●プログラム期間： 8 月4 日（月）～8 月15 日（金） ●内容：・シェフィールド大学の教授陣によるアカデミックな講義・現地学生等による講義前・講義後のサポート/ ディスカッションセミナー・英語学習クラス・フィールドトリップ（ヨーク） York ※アカデミックな講義：人文社会系と工学・理学系の二つのトラックから一つ選択 ※英語学習クラス：同大学のEnglish Language Teaching Centreで他の留学生とともに学習（クラス分けのレベルテストあり） 3 University of Sheffield Summer Program Science and Engineering Lectures; 1.
