Dear Guests,
Welcome to Restaurant Greetje, the Dutch specialty restaurant!
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is René Loven and I am the proud owner
of this restaurant. I established this restaurant on October 1st, 2005 and named it
after my mother (the lovely lady in the photograph). Let me tell you why...I was
brought up with great tasting and nutritious home cooking. Long before
awareness for the environment was deemed fashionable and considered
necessary, my mum had already been preparing our daily meals based on these
principles, as well as on traditional cooking methods. These are the core values
with which I run this restaurant and make my choices for what we present on the
menu.
Thus, our menu is composed of specialties cooked with daily fresh products of
Dutch soil, each dish prepared with love and respect for its ingredients and the
environment. Moreover, no additives of any kind are used.
My chefs and the service team will do the very best to ensure that your visit to my
restaurant exceeds your expectations. Enjoy your selections from the menu.
On our wine list, you will find superb wines to complement our specialties. We
would be more than happy to recommend the best wines to accompany your
choices from our menu.
