Research Assistant (HiWi) for a machine-learning project The Chair of Entrepreneurship is pleased to offer a new research/student assistant post from August 2014. The task will primarily involve data collection and processing for a machine learning project. What your job will be: • Supporting an interdisciplinary research project at interface of management research and artificial intelligence • Collection data including the web crawler • Implementing co-citation analysis • Running topic modeling algorithms • Preparing and visualizing of results What we are looking for: • Enrolled ETH or UZH student with a preferred background in computer science or electrical engineering • Decent understanding of C, R, Python or similar language • Accurate, reliable and independent way of working • Positive “can-do” attitude, willingness to learn, and good team player What we are offering: • • • • Professional experience in a state-of-the-art research project Opportunity to be a member of an international research group Salary scheme in line with ETH-rules Flexible working arrangements in an open and informal environment Candidates are asked to send a Curriculum Vitae and brief motivation explaining your interest in the position, to Efe Aksüyek ([email protected]), with the subject “Research assistant for a machine learning project”.
