The money is for the school to offer fresh fruits & veggies to all the students several days during lunch. Research shows that most children do not eat the recommended 5 daily servings of fruits & veggies. The goal of this program is to increase students' exposure to less commonly eaten fruits & veggies, help them try some new foods, & ultimately increase their "daily 5" intake. A special thank you also to Lynda Root and Julie Wilson for their hard work. 2 3 What: Who: Where: Tutoring every Tuesday/Thursday after school until 4:00. 5-8 grade students Middle School Library No charge for families Students need to sign up in the office by Monday for Tuesday session, by Wednesday for Thursday session Parents need to e-mail or send a note confirming they are available for pick-up Free Tutoring For middle school Students—any class CALENDAR OF EVENTS March 14 SHS Play 7:00 SHS– TONIGHT!!!!!
