TRANING PROGRAMS IN MEU A “Basic Course Workshop in Medical Education Technologies” was organized by the Department of Medical Education Unit from 27 – 29 November, 2014  20 faculty members were trained under the supervision of MCI representative Dr. P. K. Sharma, Resource faculty of regional center, KGMU, Lucknow. Following Faculty members have undergone Training at Medical Education Technology Workshop at KGMU, Lucknow from 5th-7th Dec 2013: 1. Dr.Shilpi Srivastava, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Microbiology, IIMSR. Following faculty members have undergone training at MET workshop, KGMU, from 17th to 19th July 2014: 1. Dr. Nitin Gupta, Asst. AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS  During this period the institute has participated in certification of polio-eradication program in collaboration with INCLEN (International Clinical Epidemiological Network). Dr. F.U. Ahmad (Dean/Director, IIMS&R) and Dr. Nadeem Ahmad (Prof. & HOD, Dept. of Community Medicine) participated in the program.  Professor F.U Ahmed, Dean-Director has been nominated as chairman of Ethical Committee of NEGRIHMS, Shillong and ICMR.  Professor F.U Ahmed, Dean-Director has been nominated as chairperson of the experts committee for review of long term ICMR projects NNMB & HRRC july -2104.  Professor F.U Ahmed, Dean-Director has been nominated as member of the Scientific Advisory Committee. (ICMR)  Professor F.U Ahmed, Dean-Director has been nominated as Chairperson of “Research Advisory Committee” for Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU) Bhanpur Kallan, Rajasthan.
