科学者が大規模なデータ集合による制限に遭遇することは、しばしば発生し、その分野にはゲノミクス、コネクトミクス、複雑な物
理シミュレーション、画像データおよび検索データが含まれる。本セミナーではビッグデータの手法面に焦点を当て、自分の問題
をビッグデータ手法で解決するための実践を重視し、導入部の講義と参加者のワークショップを中心に行う。
Scientists often encounter limitations due to large data sets called “big data” in many areas such as genomics, connectomics,
complex physics simulations and informatics. From this point I would like to propose that this JOINT Seminar will be carried out
in a workshop style, so that the participants can enjoy this occasion and we can maximize the significance of this gettingtogether kind of academic exchange. Sitting around a table the students will exchange their opinions. They will also learn how to
