Sealed tender affixing non refundable Court Fee Stamp of Rs. 8.25/- (Rupees eight and paisa
twenty five) only are invited from the authorized Firms/Suppliers /Contractors for supply
of the following Horse fodder and essential Miscellaneous articles for Assam Police
Horses for the financial year 2014-15 at 4th A.P.Bn., Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.

-2The quotations must reach to the undersigned on or before 17-06-2014
up to 1300 Hrs. and will be open on the same day at 1500 Hrs. by the undersigned or the
next day in case happens to be holiday in presence of the intending tenderer (s) or their
authorized representative.
The tenders must be submitted under sealed cover and distinctly and
conspicuously marked as “ TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF HORSE FODDER AND ESSENTIAL
MISCELLANEOUS ARTICLE” on the top of the envelope, the name and address of the
tenderer should also be written.
Terms and conditions:1.
The tenderer will have to furnish up to date VAT clearance/ registration
certificate, Firm/Contractor registration certificate, PAN Card, Tin No. and without which
tender will not be accepted. All documents submitted by the tenderer should be attested by
a Govt. Gazetted Officer.
2.
The tenderer must quoted their rates neatly written/typed in both
figures and words inclusive of all taxes and transportation charge, destination being 4th
A.P.Bn., Kahilipara, Guwahati-19 and the rates must be tallied with the market rates.
3.
Net weight of commodities only will be accepted weight of container, bag
etc. will not be counted.
4.
The tenderer must give sample of each items with sealed box with the
tender.
5.
Submission of more than one tender, quoting different rates by the same
tenderer or firms fill up under the same style will be disqualified.
6.
Tender must be supported together with the earnest money of Rs.
25,000/-( Rupees twenty five thousand) only in the form of KVP/NSC etc. duly pleadged in
favour of the undersigned without which tender will not considered. Security deposit by the
existing Contractor in connection with previous contract will be accepted as earnest money.
The earnest money of the successful tenderer may be adjusted as a part of security money
and the earnest money of the unsuccessful tenderer will be returned after final settlement of
contract. Once selected, if the tenderer fails to supply the indented articles the earnest
money of the tenderer will be forfeited and will be debared from submitting tender in
future.

The successful tenderer will have to furnish security deposit at the rate
of 5% of the total value of the annual contract and sign an agreement with the undersigned
on behalf of the Governor of Assam at call and must fulfill the terms and condition of the
contract. In violation of contract agreement the party concerned will be liable for any action
as may be deem fit and proper.

The successful tenderer will have to supply Horse fodder and essential
Miscellaneous articles at Bn. Hqr. Kahilipara ,Guwahati-19, as per sample accepted. In case
of default in supplied articles/rejected by the receiving Board for inferior qualities articles
will have to replace by the Contractor at his own cost immediately.

Supply of Green grass and fresh Carrot should be made every alternative
date at 4th A.P.Bn., Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.
The undersigned is not bound to accept the lowest rates tender if not
reasonable. He also reserve the right to accept or cancel any or all the tenders without
assigning any reason thereof.
