$150 Prize* for Student Artist Design the image for NIU’s 2015 Women’s History Month Poster Co–Sponsored by the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at NIU is accepting submissions for the image to be used on the poster for Women's History Month 2015. This year’s Women’s History Month theme will focus on WOMEN, GENDER, SEXUALITY & INCARCERATION ISSUES. The purpose of the poster is to publicize the wide variety of events that take place throughout Women’s History Month. Therefore, the winning image will not only be based on the theme but will also help draw attention to the text advertising events. Application Deadline: 4:30 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 Who can enter? Any current NIU student Rules 1. Applicants must submit a completed submission form (see reverse). Additional forms are available in Reavis Hall, Room 103 or at www.niu.edu/ wgs/news/WomensHistoryMonth.shtml 2. Submitted artwork must be your original creation. 3. Submit up to 5 images. 4. Digital images must be submitted on a CD-R or flash drive (.jpg, .psd, .png, or .gif formats preferred). Include your name on the CD/drive.** 5. Non-digital format artwork (paper/canvas/photographs) must be submitted in a single envelope. Write your name on all artwork.** **Artwork/CD’s/Drives will only be returned if you provide a stamped return envelope, or you may pick up your work. Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies will have non-exclusive rights to the winning image to be used for the poster, Women's History Month promotional materials, and any other Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies related materials.
