Mass Intentions Communion Visits St. John & St. Edward Parish If you would like to have a weekday or weekend Mass offered for your loved ones or special intentions, we have many openings available. The stipend for a Mass intention is $10. Please call the rectory to set these up 802-485-8313. If you know of anyone who is homebound who would like to receive a communion visit, please contact Fr. St. John Religious Education News Ladies of St. Anne Coffee Hour There will be a First Communion Class after 8:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, February 1st. The Ladies of St. Anne will host a Coffee Hour on Sunday, February 8th following 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Edward. Everyone is invited! Confirmation class on February 1st has been cancelled. The Confirmation Class on February 15th will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Fashioning Faith Sunday, February 8th at 5:00 p.m. is the next Fashioning Faith Session at St. John. There is a sign up sheet in the back of the church for anyone who would like to make a dessert for the meal. Circle of Grace St. John - The February Fashioning Faith class will include a Parent meeting on the Circle of Grace Program. All parents with children in the Religious Education Program are required to attend the meeting. St. Edward - The Circle of Grace program will be incorporated into the weekly Religious Education class by the end of February. A parent information packet will be given or mailed out to all parents prior to the start of the Circle of Grace lessons. Food Bank - Community Service for the Confirmation Class- Both Parishes Students in the Confirmation program from both parishes will be volunteering at the Food Bank in Barre Town on Tuesday, February 24th (school vacation). There is mandatory paperwork that needs to be completed for the Food Bank prior to February 24th. Please contact Maryann McGinnis or Cheryl Hulbert if you have not yet received your paperwork. “Souper Bowl” We will be having a “Souper Bowl” Collection this weekend, January 31st & February 1st. We will be collecting non-perishable food items & toiletries for our local food shelves - CERV and the Williamstown Community Food Shelf. The box for drop off is located in the back of each church. If you forgot your canned goods, we are also collecting monetary donations as well. Thank you for your support! This can be an individual working alone or couple/pair working together. Ideally, the rotation would be once every 3 months.
