White Ribbon Campaign
•
The Court St. Pius X Catholic Daughters of the Americas
will be handing out white ribbons after mass this weekend.
As Catholics and Christians we are called to promote modesty and purity in our families and communities by the way
we dress, what we read, what we view, what we listen to
and how we speak and act. Do we emulate the purity and
holiness of the Holy Family in our daily lives? Take a moment, reflect and consider how you and your family can
promote a more modest and holy lifestyle. Peace be with
you.

Choir Practice
We encourage our children to attend classes regularly, why
don’t we encourage ourselves? What are we doing to grow •
in our faith? Can we give 1 hour once a month to
strengthen our relationship with Christ and deepen the
knowledge of our faith? ONE HOUR…ONCE A
MONTH!!! Our Faith Forums are scheduled for the 2nd
Sunday of the month to encourage parents to attend class
at the same time your children are attending Religious education. These Faith Forums are Adult Education classes,
not only for parents of those in Religious Education, but for
all adults of our parish. Please mark your calendars to participate in our next Faith Forum, Sunday, November 9th following Mass in the Parish Hall. Children emulate their parents, let us live by example to the children of our parish.
•
Over the past couple weeks you have probably noticed a
change in the way we are handing out our bulletins. The
Parish Council, along with Father Rick, made this decision
several months ago and are now implementing that
change. Why the change? It’s simple. Our hopes are that
when you come in to the church that you take that time to
prepare your hearts and minds for what you are about to
witness and take part of, The Mass. The Liturgy of the
Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist are major events and
just like any other major event in our lives, we need to be
prepared. This time before Mass is a time for us to put
aside everything else that is happening around us and focus on Christ. In addition to this, by taking a bulletin home,
•
you have more time to fully read thorough it, allowing you
to follow the many events of our parish and Diocese.
Hospitality & Social Commission invites you!
