ZAV – AUDITION for dancers Onsdag 12 february 2014 Danscentrum Syd, Mazettihuset / Bergsgatan 29 Malmö Danscentrum Syd in collaboration with Arbetsförmedlingen Kultur Media Syd will hold an audition for the german artist agency “ZAV-Künstlervermittlung TANZ”. ZAV This government Placement Service for Performing Arts / DANCE is the place to contact for all theatres and all dance professionals in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland – no matter what kind of dance style or tradition! The placement officers working there maintain an active presence, keeping a constant eye on the international dance scene and responding quickly to innovative, interesting developments. They are familiar with dance companies’ artistic and administrative characteristics and special needs – whether it’s the classical ballet at a municipal theatre or an independent contemporary dance company. The professionals at the Artists’ Placement Service have dance backgrounds as dancers, choreographers and artistic directors of their own. Audition If dancers want to be registered in the ZAV artist-agency, they have to come to the audition in Danscentrum Syd in Malmö. At this audition, Juliane Rößler of the ZAV will assess as well dancers´ skills and level in different techniques as in addition their style, type, energy, quality of movement, musicality, stage presence, expression, retentiveness and creativity.
