For each vocabulary quiz, I will upload two word
lists.
The one named: (2007_JPN312_VQ*) is a list of
words which you are expected to be able to read
(pronounce) and understand, but not to write in
kanji.
The one named: (2007_JPN312_VQ*_kanji) is a list
of words which you are expected to be able to write
in kanji, in addition to reading and understanding.
The first VQ is on 1/18 (Thursday)
Compositions




You will write (about) 5 compositions through
the semester.
The theme, the expected format/length, and
the deadline will be announced in class and
on the website.
After receiving the instructor’s feedback, you
need to turn in the revised draft with the first
draft stapled together.
Your compositions must be typed.
Radio Diary (Weekly)




Read carefully the radio diary instruction.
You are allowed to skip this assignment up to
3 times without penalty.
Your diary can be brief – the important part is
to make it a custom to listening to Japanese
conversations.
The first radio diary is due on 1/23.
