５．技能実習にあたっての心構え
（1）一日のはじまりは「あいさつ」から
あいさつの交わされない職場では、協調性のある人間関係や明るい雰囲気は生まれて
きません。元気にあいさつをしましょう。
また、積極的な取組みにより、大きな成果を上げることが期待できます。
（2）ルールを守る
企業では、多くの人たちが働いています。スムーズに行動できるのは、決められた規
則を守っているからです。時間や約束を守ることで、あなたは信頼を得るでしょう。決
められた規則を守り、技能実習指導員・生活指導員の指示を確実に理解しましょう。
（3）真剣に指導を受けましょう
別のことを考えていたり、いやいやながらでは、指導されたことが身につきません。
説明者の話や指導を、真剣に受けることが大切です。
（4）何事もわかるまで
技能実習を進めていくうえで最も重要なことは、わからない、知らない、できないま
ま先に進まないことです。よくわからないで作業を続けるのは危険です。理解できるま
で、何回でも繰り返し確認しましょう。

5. Mentally Preparing for Technical Intern Training
(1) Start Each Day with a Greeting
Workplaces where no greetings are exchanged cannot develop cooperative human relationships or a
cheerful working atmosphere. So, be sure to offer a cheerful morning greeting.
With such active effort, you can expect to see some major results.
(2) Observe the Rules
Companies have a large number of people working for them.Operations can run smoothly when
the rules are observed.Being on time and keeping promises will earn your trust. Be sure to keep
the rules, and take care to correctly understand the instructions of the technical intern training
coordinators and advisers assisting technical intern trainees with living in Japan.
(3) Accept Instruction with Seriousness
Instructions cannot sink in if your mind is wandering or if you act as if you would prefer doing
something else.
It is important to accept the instructor’s words or advice with seriousness.
(4) Understand Every Detail
In technical intern training, the most important point to remember is that no progress can be
made while you “don’t understand,” “don’t know,” or “can’t do.” Proceeding with operations
that you do not fully understand is dangerous. Check over and over again until you understand
everything.

あなたが日本に滞在する間は、日本の各種法令が適用されます。
まず、あなたは、出入国管理及び難民認定法（入管法）の「技能実習」という在留資格
で日本に滞在しているので、この資格で認められていない活動、例えば、内職やアルバイ
トなどはできません。
また、実習実施機関との雇用関係の下で技能実習に従事するので、あなたには労働基準
法など日本人労働者と同じ法令が適用されます（技能実習１号イの場合は入国直後から、
技能実習１号ロの場合は入国直後の講習終了後からとなります）。関係する法令の主なも
のは、労働条件の基準に関する法律、安全衛生に関する法律、最低賃金に関する法律、職
業の安定に関する法律、労働災害補償に関する法律、健康保険や年金そして税金に関する
法律などです。
これらの法令によって、日本人労働者と同じように、あなたの権利は保護されることに
なりますが、同じように、果たさなくてはならない義務があることも忘れないようにして
ください。
During your stay in Japan, Japan’s various laws will be applicable.
First, since you are staying in Japan with a “Technical Intern Training” resident status under the
Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Immigration Law), you cannot engage in
activities not allowed under this status, including side work and part-time jobs.
Furthermore, trainees who take technical intern training under an employment contract with an
organization implementing technical intern training are protected by the same rules and regulations as
Japanese workers, such as the Labor Standards Act. (In the case of Technical Intern Training (i)(a),
immediately upon entering Japan, and in the case of Technical Intern Training (i)(b), immediately upon
entering Japan after the end of courses). The main laws affecting you include laws related to labor
condition standards, laws related to health and safety, laws related to the minimum wage, laws related to
job security, laws related to workmen’s compensation, and laws related to health insurance and taxation.
Through these laws, your rights are protected just as they are for Japanese workers. Do not forget,
however, that this also means you must also fulfill the same obligations.
