Job Summary: Under the direction of the Portfolio Manager the Intern will provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of
fixed income securities, assist with producing various reports, and complete special projects in support of the Investment and
Risk Management Teams. The Intern will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:30am-3:30pm. The 16-week
Internship will begin in September.
Primary Expectations/Responsibilities
1. Analyzes and reports on corporate bonds, asset backed securities, and residential mortgage-backed securities.
2. Analyzes and presents financial and economic variables associated with fixed income issuers.
3. Using standard industry tools, research, and analytic tools, creates cash flow and valuation models of current portfolio
holdings.
4. Actively seeks to improve and enhance investment selection and monitoring processes.
5. Provides accurate and timely deal/sector/macro research to support the decision-making process of the investment
team.
6. Performs other assignments as requested and proactively identifies value adding projects and initiatives.
7. Maintains professional attitude, behavior, and interaction with colleagues.

A degree or declared major in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Statistics, or similar quantitatively-oriented
major. Ability to analyze fixed income securities. Current or prior enrollment in a Beneficial’s on-campus investment
internship is a plus. Good working knowledge of computer systems (such as VBA programming) and software (Bloomberg
and other investment software/databases) is a plus. Progress towards achieving the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
designation is a plus. Knowledge of and interest in the capital markets.
