---------------------------------------------------------------------------Traveling this Summer?
Thank you for your ongoing support of our parish.
Financial support generally “falls off” during the
Summer. As in you own home, our parish has serious
financial obligations to meet on a twelve month basis.
If you are planning to be away some part of the
summer, please remember to make your regular
contribution before you leave. Your stewardship is
needed, it counts, and it helps at Immaculate
Conception to pay our bills.
ALTAR FLOWER CALENDAR
The Flower Calendar is available in the Narthex to sign up
for flowers to recognize a special occasion, anniversary or
in honor of or in memory of a loved one. A donation of $40
or more will cover the costs of flowers for weekends. Please
mail your offering and intention to the church office or call
the office at 272-0266 to reserve your date. Thank you for
helping make our church so beautiful.

Celebration of the Sacraments
Precepts of the Church
Holy Communion
*You shall attend Mass on Sundays and holy days!of
obligation and rest from servile labor.
*You shall confess your serious sins at least once!a
year.
*You shall receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist!at
least during the Easter Season.
*You shall observe the days of fasting and abstinence
established by the Church.
As Catholics, we full participate in the celebration of the
Eucharist when we receive Holy Communion. We are
encouraged to receive devoutly and frequently. In order
to be properly disposed to receive Holy Communion,
one should not be conscious of grave sin and normally
should have fasted for one hour. A frequent reception of
the Sacrament of Penance encouraged for all.
Baptism
Requesting the Sacrament of Baptism for a child
involves a serious obligation and a faith commitment on
the part of both parents. In order to prepare the parents
for this task, they will be requested to attend a
Baptismal Preparation Class prior to the baptism. To
register call the Parish Office (272-0266). A date for the
Baptism cannot be set until the necessary preparation
has taken place. Parents are encouraged to begin
preparation prior to the birth of their child.
Confirmation
Candidates are those already baptized and who have
received the necessary information in religious
education. Candidates must be at least in the 7th or 8th
grade to receive the Sacrament.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament is celebrated each Saturday at 4:00 PM
until 4:45 PM at Immaculate Conception in Dublin. It
is celebrated on Thursday afternoon at 5:00 PM at St.
William in Sandersville. Additional opportunities for
receiving this Sacrament are made available during
Advent and Lent.
Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament is administered on request to those who
are ill at home, in the hospital or nursing home. Please
call the Parish Office (272-0266).
Matrimony
Congratulations on your engagement! Call the Parish
Office (272-0266) to make arrangements at least six (6)
months in advance! It is necessary that either the
prospective bride or groom or their family be registered
members in good standing of Immaculate Conception or
St. William Parish.
Holy Orders
If you desire help in discerning God's will for your life
and that He may be calling you to a vocation to serve
the people of God in the Priesthood of Jesus Christ,
contact Fr. Mark VanAlstine at 912-201-4113.
Protecting Our Youth: Diocesan policy requires all
diocesan adult employees and volunteers who minister
to the youth of the diocese attend VIRTUS(safe
environment) awareness training, undergo a background
check, and read and sign the diocesan code of conduct
for working with minors prior to commencing their
ministry.
Updating our Office Records: Moving?
Please let us know if you are leaving the area. Or, if you
are moving locally, please let us know your new address
and telephone number. By letting us know you have
moved, we can save money on postage returns and keep
our membership roster up to date. Accurate church
records enable us to assist you when you have a need of
verifying your registration. The absence of verifiable
records has rendered ineligible persons seeking to be
sponsors for Baptism and Confirmation, as a
participating parish member and such like.
If in doubt about your parish record, contact the office at
272-0266. We ask that all families of our parish be
registered before attending REP or sacramental
preparation classes. Thank you.
Welcome New Parishioners
If you are new in the parish please introduce yourself
to Fr. Pontzer after Mass and come to the parish office
to register. We want to know who you are to be able to
better serve you. We hope you will support your parish
by your prayers, your presence, your talents, and you
financial gifts.
Hospital Visits
Hospitals may not give patient information; therefore,
we have no way of knowing your needs. Please call the
office if you or a family member is in the hospital. If
you are scheduled for surgery, please contact Fr. Pontzer
to receive the Sacrament of the Sick.
Leave A Legacy
We appreciate the thoughtfulness of parishioners who
have made bequests to the parish. Their gifts help us
build a solid foundation for future generations.
After Hours Emergency
If you need to inform the parish of an emergency
situation outside of office hours, please call 275-9252
and leave a message. You will receive a return call as
quickly as possible.
If you would like to schedule a Mass intention please
call or come to the office. Diocese policy suggests an
offering of $10 or more per mass intention.
