Conestoga Adventures The Lighthouse at Conestoga Evangelism Catalyst Missionary, NAMB December 2014 Pam Whitehead, Director [email protected] What a wonderful Christmas season! I started December out by speaking at Lula Baptist and Hills Crossing in Georgia. What a great time of meeting everyone and being able to share what the Father is doing at the park! THANK YOU! Christmas time is always filled with many adventures for us as we celebrate Jesus birth! Join us in celebrating all HE has done. How may I pray for you? Blessings, Pam Nativity Cookies - We learned to make nativity cookies to share about Jesus birth. They made one set to give away and another set to keep if they liked. Most gave both sets away! Fifteen of all ages came including several new people. Free Pictures with Santa – We had 31 of all ages to have their pictures taken with Santa with some being new! They received a bag of goodies that shared about Jesus. Plus, Mars Hill Youth who provide the pictures and photographer also provided Pizza for everyone! Don’t forget about Santa Claus too!! THANK YOU!! Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14 North Pole Christmas Party – Every year we have a Children’s Christmas Party, but this year the party was for all ages. Did you see the Hallmark movie, North Pole? Do you know that you can use the North Pole toys to share about two NAMB Missionaries and two IMB Missionaries? We also had a variety of crafts where they learned more about Jesus. Twenty people of all ages came including one who just moved in the park! Thank You Harmony Youth for helping! BCM Perimeter does crafts before Live Nativity – BCM Students did a variety of crafts with preschoolers, children, teens, and adults. What FUN they had!! Live Nativity – All ages did our live nativity. Did you know that a cow can hold baby Jesus? Thank you BCM Perimeter for singing and Harmony Baptist for providing chili, cornbread, and brownies for at least 60 people!! Free Christmas Shop - Thank you to everyone who provided items for our Free Christmas Shop! We had fifty teens and adults that found many gifts for their friends and families. For one of our women in the park this was the only place she could come and shop for Christmas because of her COPD and other health problems. Remember her and her family, as she is drawing close to the last stage of COPD. Thank you to the Phillips family and my mom for helping!! Christmas Eve - We sang Christmas songs from the hymnal and reviewed our Jesse Tree Bible Stories from Creation ending with Jesus Birth. Every Sunday and Thursday we had a Jesse Tree ornament to put on our Christmas tree. Thank you to the BCM Perimeter students, individuals, Sunday School classes, and families who provided a present for each of our 17 kids!! The Storm Shelter CWJC of Monroe - Pray we enlist seven mentors and have seven women who need help to become self sufficient through our Christian Women’s Job Corps. The purpose of Christian Women’s Job Corps, a ministry of WMU, is to provide a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment and a missions context where women help women.
