Best Practices of Our College
1. We have launched a scheme of financial aid to the needy poor merit-holder students
to pursue higher education. Under this scheme, we have collected donation from
stakeholders and staff-members. Through this fund, known as ‘Kusumtai Education
Fund’ financial aid is given to the poor students to take medical or Engineering
education. The total amount collected up to this date is Rs. 98,970/-.
2. Similarly, our meritorious students are awarded cash prizes through “Continuous
Deposit Scheme” The staff members contribute a specific amount in the memory of
their late family members. The amount is deposited in fix account and the interest
earned is awarded as a crash prize. 15 of our staff members have contributed to this
fund and the total amount is Rs.59,000/- . Every year 15 students are awarded cash
prizes for their best academic performance. The amount and the number of students
will keep growing.
3. We publish ‘Kanya Sanwad’ news bulletin at the interval of three months. It
highlights the important academic and extracurricular activities and the remarkable
achievements of teachers and students.
4. Kanya Career Academy also conducts Kanya Talent Search Examination on the death
anniversary of Late Loknete Rajarambapu Patil. All the students of the schools and
colleges of Kasegaon Education Society can appear for the exam. The objective is to
motivate school and college students for competitive exam career.
5. We have established Kanya Chhand Mandal to develop the innate creative abilities
among the students, we offer our students training in different handicrafts and arts
such as Mehandi Design, Rangoli Designing, Making Artificial Flowers, Cloth Painting,
Jardosi Work, Beautification Course and so on. With the help of such training
students can be economically independent and grow into a positive image.
6. Flood and drought is the common phenomena in Maharashtra. The situation goes
out of control when The River Krishna overflows and the villages on its banks have to
be shifted in safe places. When the flood affected villages need help; our students
collect packages of food-grains & medicines from the community and distribute
them among needy people visiting the villages. Particularly the village Tambave,
Dhotrewadi, Borgaon, Kapuskhed are the recipients of such help.
7. To render health services to community the college has signed MOU with
Rajarambapu Blood Bank, Islampur. With the collaboration of this local body, every
year the college organized Blood Donation Camp on 1st August – Rajarambapu Patil
birth anniversary, Independence Day, Republic Day. Since 2004, we have collected
200 bags of blood and this noteworthy collection is our valuable service to
community.
8. Similarly our college has a tie-up with the GO’s and NGO’s functioning in the locality
of Islampur. We have an MOU with Rajarambapu Dnyan Probodhini, Lions Club,
Giants Club, Giants Saheli, Rotary Club Islampur. Superstition Eradication Committee
in Islapur. With the co-operation and the common interest of these bodies the
college undertakes joint ventures like tree plantation, awareness programmes,
health camps, guest lectures and so on. An Extension Committee in the college
organizes & monitors such the programmes in which students and stake holders
participate actively. This is a step towards developing a sense of social commitment
among the students and developing the healthy network with the society.
9. It is our practice to organize H.B. checkup, skin-disease checkup, eye checkup camp
during the special camping programme of N.S.S. The villagers and the girl students
are the beneficiaries.
10. Since the establishment, our Staff-Academy is functioning actively with the objective
of giving exposure of advanced knowledge in different fields to our teaching and
non-teaching staff and keeps them abreast with the changes in research and higher
education. Eminent scholars are invited to deliver intellectual discourses.

engineering and medical science studies. A remarkable number of students of our

enhancement.
