Comité de Coopération avec le Laos (CCL) is a non-governmental organisation working in Lao PDR for 34 years in the following key development sectors : health, rural development and education. CCL is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person for the position of Project Coordinator (Lao National) for its Poverty Reduction Project in Oudomxay Province Qualifications and experience: - Demonstrated experience in project management with INGO, NGO, - Experience in community development and rural development projects, knowledge of EU procedures is a plus, - Successful experience in team management, - Ability to work in partnership with local authorities, international and lao partners and with ethnic minorities, - Self-organization and good communication skills, - Ability to undertake travel to district remote villages frequently, Fluency in written and spoken English, ability to understand and speak French is an advantage. Good command of computer programm including MS office and Internet, Car & motocycle driving license required. Main responsibilities: - Coordination of all activities in cooperation with the local authorities, partners as PAFO and district agencies (DAFO, Health, LWU, NRM, education), international and lao partners, - Project team management, - Representation of CCL in the targeted villages and participation in meetings/workshops, - Planification and monitoring of the project activities, including partners and donors’ visits, in cooperation with the international project advisor, - Reporting to CCL headquarter and involved governmental agencies, - Improve the development strategy in cooperation with communities, project team, local authorities and partners. Work location: Xay District, Oudomxay Province, with frequent travel to targeted villages in La, Namor and Nga Districts. Duration: 3 years. Start date: As soon as possible.
