IMEX2014 Exhibitor FAQ Q. How many attendees do you expect at IMEX2014? A. We expect a qualified audience of 1,500. Q. How many exhibitors do you expect at IMEX2014? A. We expect 250 exhibiting companies occupying 40,000 square feet of exhibit space. Q. What is the Projected Audience Composition for IMEX2014? A. Our projected Audience Composition, based on other shows we produce and marketing plan are as follows: Engineering Senior Management Operations Management Consultants/Contractors Plant/Equipment Maintenance Personal Other (Including Academic, Marketing, Purchasing, Government, etc.) 30% 20% 12% 14% 3% 21% Q. How often will IMEX take place? A. IMEX is a new event and we’ll let the market dictate its frequency. Our initial thinking is to hold the event every two years or every four years in the gap years between MINExpo. We won’t be holding IMEX in MINExpo years. Q. How does IMEX2014 compare to MinExpo? A. IMEX2014 is a completely different concept than MinExpo. IMEX2014 is a new kind of event for the mining industry focused on education, networking, international participation and products and services that will help mine operators improve their business processes. Mining Media International produces many events for the mining industry including Longwall USA, Coal Handling & Storage and Haulage & Loading. IMEX2014 is another event within this portfolio. Q. How is IMEX2014 being promoted? A. IMEX2014 is being promoted internationally through our vast network of magazine subscribers and trade show attendees. We are also working with several associations and publishers to expand our reach. We are employing print and digital advertising, social media and direct outreach to find the right attendees for this event. Q. Who are the speakers for this event? A. We’ve put together a faculty of more than 50 industry leaders presenting on five separate conference tracks in 50 sessions. Who is our official host hotel? A. The LVH is located adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be our headquarters hotel for IMEX2014. How many badges do we receive as exhibitors? A. Each exhibitor will receive five (5) exhibit badges for booth personnel per 10’ X 10’ booth and one (1) full conference access badge. Additional exhibitor expo hall passes are available for $25 each and additional exhibitor conference passes are available for $375-$550, depending on the prevailing rate at the time. Q. How do I register for my Exhibitor Badge? A. Once your contract is processed and payment is received you will receive an email with your exhibitor registration username and password. Q. Where can I find out information about deadlines, furniture, material handling and labor? A. How can I edit my company information for the Show Directory Listing? A. You will receive an email confirmation once your contract is processed and payment is received. The email will contain your username and password from A2Z Floor plan with your company log-in information shortly after you submitted your exhibitor contract.
