Important exhibitor information Stand construction and dismantling Stand construction Start: Thursday, 29 January 2015, 08:00 a.m. Finish: Saturday, 31 January 2015, 08:00 p.m. at the latest Maximum construction height 3.50 m Uniform measurements ensure a cohesive overall impression of the trade fair. Therefore, stand constructions as well as advertising media may not exceed a maximum construction height of 3.50 m. For lighting hanging from the hall, ceiling the top edge of the lighting may be a maximum of 4.50 m from the hall floor. Final day of the trade fair It is possible to erect a stand during this time, 24 hours a day. Stand dismantling Start: Wednesday, 4 February 2015, from 06:00 p.m. Finish: Friday, 6 February 2015, 24:00 midnight In order to provide an optimum working atmosphere for all participants even on the last day of the trade fair we have taken additional measures to improve the quality of the last day of the fair. What do we do? Dismantling may not take place before Wednesday, 4 February 2015, 06:00 p.m. Up to this point in time and during the entire trade fair, the stand must be equipped with the registered and approved exhibition materials and occupied by personnel. Please do not start clearing the stand and packing the exhibits until the trade fair has closed. Contravention of this can incur a penalty of up to 5,000.00 Euro. For safety reasons you should pay extra attention to your products, materials etc. We recommend securing the appropriate insurance and a stand guard. HGV traffic control Please adhere strictly to our advice on traffic control. Due to construction work and blockades there may be traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the trade fair. Please inform yourself of the current situation beforehand. Please give this information and also the traffic guidelines and traffic control plan to your drivers and stand construction team. Exhibitor passes Please remember to bring your exhibitor pass with you to Cologne! The exhibitor pass which you have received together with your stand rental invoice authorise you for entry to the ISM and the free use of public transport in the extended VRS area from 1–4 February 2015. You can order further exhibitor passes at a charge using form Z.01. Service orders via the Koelnmesse Service Portal/check list Have you already ordered all the services you require via the Koelnmesse Service Portal? If not, we would like to ask you to please observe our deadlines on the check list. • Increased checks at the entrances and exits on the last day of the fair • Provision of return containers for exhibitor passes or manual voiding if the exhibitor pass is still required as a travel pass for public transport in Rhine-Sieg transport system (VRS). • Presence of teams from event security in the halls to prevent premature stand dismantling but also to prevent the collection of goods or stands being cleared by visitors • Documentation of premature dismantling by Koelnmesse employees What can you contribute? • Please do not pass on exhibitor passes to third parties! Void your exhibitor pass after the last time you leave the fair grounds or throw it into the containers intended for this at the exit. • Please enter your name on your exhibitor pass. • Calculate your commercial samples so that there is nothing left over. • Please do not make any goods or samples available on the edge of the stand which may be taken away in an uncontrolled manner and do not leave any goods behind on your stands. • Carrier bags which are handed out may not exceed the measurements 40 x 30 x 10 cm, handing out empty carrier bags is anticipated. The distribution of advertising materials or tasting samples is not permitted outside the stand area. • Please keep your stand manned even on the last day of the fair until 06:00 p.m. 11 % of ISM visitors, that is approx. 4,000 purchasers, visit the fair on the last day. There may still be some important customers for you among them. Collection of remaining goods only after the fair has closed If you would like to pass on remaining goods to non-profit institutions please get in contact directly with those institutions. Entry permission for collection of these must be regulated by the exhibitor. Remaining goods can be collected on the last day of the fair but not before 06:00 p.m. No entry for children under 12 years Punctual payment Children under 12 years old are not permitted to enter the trade fair. There is a day care facility available. For security reasons, no prams or push chairs are allowed in the exhibition halls. Please check if your invoice has already been settled. Payment of the stand rental by the deadline is a prerequisite for occupying your stand. Stand parties Service on site Please note that stand parties must be approved by us in advance.
