1. Matters arising:
a) 8m 3/3/14: submissions of (RTI), Real Time Information, have successfully been undertaken by
Thirsk Payroll.
b) 9 3/3/14 Planning application 13/03712/LBC Scales Cross referral to Secretary of State reply from
Keith Butler and circulated by email 4/3/14 - NCC cannot give themselves LBC.
c) 11 3/3/14: A report from the combined PC Bingo fund raising event circulated and attached as
appendix 1/Int37, page 283.

Ai) 10/4/14: Mick Miller - Notice of European Parliamentary Election May 22nd 2014 – Notice placed
on notice board.
Aj) *7/4/14: Patsie Jarman sent directly to Clerk + Cllrs Brooks & Allsop only – Government petition
banning automatic number plate recognition systems in NHS hospital car parks. Several Slaley
Councillors had already completed the petition on-line.
3. Financial Report.

b) NCC first half of Precept paid into bank 7/4/14 £917.50
c) Audit arrangements. Display Notice 1/4/14 – 14/4/14 + Internal audit. Records available to public
15/4/14 – 15/5/14. Audit Date May 16th 2014.
d) Internal audit successfully completed by Margaret Weatherley
4. Barley Hill Community Hall
a) Minutes of Extraordinary Meeting on April 7th attached as appendix 2/Int/ 37, page 284.
b) 3b Extraordinary Meeting: Northumbria Water requested payment Cllr Warde-Aldam used his
credit card to pay.
c) 3d Extraordinary Meeting: Cllr T W-A contacted D. Gibson solicitor at 23.25 on the evening of
April 7th.
d) 3f Extraordinary Meeting: Public Liability of BHCH has been added to Healey PC insurance
providing the premises are securely fenced off and there is no un-escorted visits to the premises and
services are disconnected. The insurers ask that once the building is sold we update their records.
e) 4a Extraordinary Meeting: Foster Maddison have confrimed they are progressing the offer made by
Mr. A. Stewart.
5. Domesday Project & Local History Club report.
Colin Argent gave a talk entitled ‘Whittonstall’ on Monday March 24th and the final meeting on April
28th will be Miss Mason’s slides from the 1970’s by Pat Wilson.

7. BOATs Update
a) Espershields - Letter sent to Planning Inspectorate dated 4/3/14 supporting the Inspector’s decision
and supporting NCC line of the way as the best researched conclusion. This was acknowledged on
March 11th.
8. May annual meetings request for annual reports.
Chairman’s annual report. Domesday Project & Local History Club annual report. County
Councillor’s report to be requested from CC C Horncastle. Note Slaley will have NP & FC at its
Annual Meeting on May 12th to discuss off roading problems. Healey Councillors are invited.
