December 8th:
Immaculate Conception of the
Blessed Virgin Mary
On this day we celebrate the example
Mary has given us in her graceful
openness to God’s will. Through
Mary’s “yes” to God and the mystery
of Gabriel’s announcement she shows us how to trust God
even when we do not understand or know where He is
leading us.
Holy Day Masses are at 12:10pm and 5:30pm.
Note from the Pope
Words of Wisdom from Pope Francis
"Dear young people, do not be discouraged. It is easy to say this,
but please make an effort not to be discouraged. With the help of
God, continue to hope in a better future, despite the difficulties
and obstacles which you are currently facing. The Catholic
Church is with you... Remember always that God does not forget
any of his children, and that those who are the smallest and who
suffer the most are closest to the Father's heart.”

Salesian Youth Oratory, November 28, 2014

FROM THE PASTORS DESK
Dear, friends:
Once again, this year, the Giving tree is filled with cutouts
of names for those who are in need of a gift. If you would,
please consider taking one of the heart cutouts and
providing a gift for a child, this Christmas. I’d like to thank
Confirmation III teachers, Anton and Jane, as well as the
students, in that class, for helping with this project. On
Sunday, Jane mentioned that this is year 23 for this parish
project; a wonderful way for the people of God to share
with those who are less fortunate.
December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, is
a holy day of obligation. Services will be at 1210 and 530
p.m. Please make every effort to attend mass on that day!
Blessings,
Fr. Ray
1st Bn., 200th Infantry Brigade, NM National Guard
and all others that you may hold dear to your heart!!!

Blessings of Brains
May God our Creator,
the One who brought order out of chaos,
bring order and productivity to my work.
May Jesus Christ our Redeemer,
the one who brings us peace beyond understanding,
bring me calmness and serenity in the midst of stress.
May the Holy Spirit our Sanctifier,
the Spirit of Wisdom,
fill me with insight
and guide me in my study
and in all my examinations.
And may Almighty God bless us,
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
