Invitation to Seminar Talk Spectral statistics of non-selfadjoint operators subject to small random perturbations Martin Vogel Université Paris-Sud Host: Laszlo Erdös It is well know that the spectrum of a non-normal operator can be very sensitive to even tiny perturbations. Recent works by Hager, Sjöstrand, Bordeaux-Montrieux, Zworski and Christiansen consider the case of non-selfadjoint elliptic pseudo-differential operators in the semiclassical or high energy limit subject to small random perturbations and show that the eigenvalues follow a probabilistic Weyl law. We are going to discuss recent developments, obtained in collaboration with Stéphane Nonnenmacher, concerning the spectral statistics of these eigenvalues. In particular we will be interested in the correlation functions of these eigenvalues and their sensitivity to the type of random perturbation. Monday, September 19, 2016, 10:00am Seminar Room Mondi 1, Central Building, 1st floor This invitation is valid as a ticket for the IST Shuttle from and to Heiligenstadt Station. Please find a schedule of the IST Shuttle on our webpage (note that the IST Shuttle times are highlighted in dark green): http://ist.ac.at/fileadmin/user_upload/pdfs/IST_shuttle_bus.pdf The IST Shuttle bus is marked IST Shuttle (#242) and has the Institute Logo printed on the side.
