for dilute Bose gases

The purpose of this talk is to discuss the ground state energy asymptotics of the
dilute Bose gas at zero temperature. Bogolubov’s theory of superfluidity predicts
an expansion of the ground state energy in terms of the density and the
scattering length with the next to leading order term being the so called LeeHuang- Yang correction. For a potential subject to a scaling factor R, with scattering
but high density
regime this has
length a, in a weak coupling
been established by Giuliani and Seiringer. I will report on ongoing joint work with
Lieb and Solovej to extend the scaling range from
