For Broccoli, Cauliﬂower and (China-) Cabbage “StretchPack” is the perfect packing solution. The VePack S-series are designed for packing these vegetables in stretch ﬁlm, giving you superior shelf life and lower packing
costs compared to shrink technology. Also here, our approach toward System Integrated Solutions (including
pre and post sorting technologies, labeling/printing and logistics) ensures an optimal packing system, tailored
to your speciﬁc needs.

Lösungsansatz und Konzept für systemintegrierte Lösungen (inklusive Technologien zur Vor- und Nachsortierung, Etikettierung/Bedrucken und Logistik) ebenso ein optimales Verpackungssystem, das an Ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse angepasst wurde.

The VePack P-series has been originally designed for Iceberg Lettuce . Thanks to machine modiﬁcations and
special ﬁlm developments, the systems now can also be used for the packaging of Broccoli, Cauliﬂower, Melons and other Fruit& vegetables.
Each specially developed packing ﬁlm has been optimized for optimal processing and maximum shelf life.
The packing system combines an innovative packing design (closed but breathable, tight packing with seal at
the butt) with an efﬁcient and modular machine concept. With a single unit, one person can clean & pack up to
17 products per minute. The capacity can be scaled up modular. With a complete harvesting rig, up to almost
120 heads per minute can be packed and handled in the ﬁeld.
Die VePack P-Baureihe wurde ursprünglich für Eisbergsalat konzipiert. Durch bauliche Veränderungen an den
Maschinen und die Entwicklung spezieller Folien kann das Verpackungssystem nun auch für die Verpackung
von Brokkoli, Blumenkohl, Melonen und anderen Früchten und Gemüsesorten verwendet werden. Jede speziell entwickelte Verpackungsfolie wurde für beste Weiterverarbeitung und längste Haltbarkeit optimiert.
Das Verpackungssystem verbindet ein innovatives Verpackungsdesign (geschlossene, aber atmungsfähige
dichte Verpackung mit einem versiegelten Verschluss an der Schnittﬂäche) mit einem efﬁzienten und modularen Maschinenkonzept. Mit einer einzigen Maschine kann eine Person bis zu 17 Produkte pro Minute reinigen
& verpacken. Die Leistung kann modular erhöht werden. Mit einer kompletten Ernteausrüstung können bis zu
120 Köpfe pro Minute auf dem Feld verpackt und abgefertigt werden.
La serie P de VePack se diseñó originalmente para la lechuga iceberg. Gracias a modiﬁcaciones en la maquinaria y al desarrollo de ﬁlms especiales, ahora también pueden usarse los sistemas para el embalaje de brécol,
coliﬂor, melones y otras frutas y hortalizas.
Cada ﬁlm de empaquetado especialmente desarrollado ha sido optimizado para un procesamiento óptimo y
una vida útil máxima.
El sistema de embalaje combina un diseño de embalaje innovador (cerrado pero transpirable, embalaje
ajustado con cierre en la culata) con un concepto de máquina eﬁciente y modular. Con una única unidad, una
persona puede limpiar y embalar hasta 17 productos por minuto. La capacidad puede escalarse de forma
modular. Con un equipo de cosecha completo, pueden embalarse y manipularse sobre el terreno hasta 120

NicePack > VePack 200-PH
The VePack 200-PH is the stand alone module for packhouse operations. This basic system with manual infeed is perfectly suited for low cost packing of various products. Either plain or pre-printed ﬁlm can be used,
and each system can be combined with automatic labeling, stamping or printing, saving additional labor,
enhancing the product presentation and ensuring product identiﬁcation.
With one module, up to 17 products can be packed per minute. You can combine multiple units into one high
capacity packing system. Complete logistic solutions with up to 6 (or even more) modules can be designed to
ﬁt your speciﬁc needs and your available ﬂoor space.
Die VePack 200-PH ist ein eigenständiges Modul für die Verpackung in der Halle. Diese einfache Maschine mit
manueller Zuführung ist bestens für die kostengünstige Verpackung von verschiedenen Produkten geeignet.
Es kann entweder einfache oder vorgedruckte Folie verwendet werden und jedes System kann mit einer

NicePack > VePack 200-PHH
The VePack 200-PHH is equipped with a compact automated, horizontal in-feed system (rotating table). This
in-feed works as a “buffer”, giving the operator the possibility to reach maximum capacity. There is also more
ﬂexibility in the number of people working on the packing machine. From one person feeding one machine to
two persons feeding four machines (in case of pre-cleaned produce).
The VePack 200-PHH is perfectly suited for the packing of Iceberg Lettuce. On request, the VePack PHH-modules can be modiﬁed for other vegetables. More than one VePack 200-PHH modules can be integrated into one
high capacity packing system. We offer turn-key solutions including selected third party logistic components.
Label dispensers, stamping systems or printers can be supplied as an option.
Die VePack 200-PHH ist mit einem kompakten, automatisierten, horizontalen Zufuhrsystem ausgestattet (Karussell). Diese Zufuhr funktioniert als „Puffer“ und ermöglicht es dem Anwender, Höchstleistung zu erreichen. Die

NicePack > VePack 200-PHV
The VePack 200-PHV has a vertical in-feed system. The standard version (VePack 200-PHV 16-5) has 16 cups (of
which 5 on the bottom part of the in-feed). This system is around 190 cm wide, and perfect for max. 2 operators.
Wider version with more cups can be supplied, so more persons can work on one unit. For the packhouse we have
supplied versions with an in-feed section up to 3,5 meters (VePack PHV 26), suitable for up to 4 persons.
The VePack 200-PHV can be supplied stand alone, or as a multiple system solution with integrated logistics.
All systems can be supplied with labeling, stamping and/or printing. In combination with the vertical in-feed
system, integrated grading (on weight and/or size) and ﬁlm length optimization options can also be offered,
ensuring that underweight products are not packed, thus saving on recall, labor and ﬁlm costs.
Die VePack 200-PHV besitzt ein vertikales Zufuhrsystem. Die Standardversion (VePack 200-PHV 16-5) ist mit 16
Schalen ausgestattet (von denen sich 5 am unteren Teil der Zufuhr beﬁnden). Diese Anlage ist ca. 190 cm breit
und bestens für max. 2 Benutzer geeignet. Es können auch breitere Ausführungen geliefert werden, so dass
mehr Personen an einer Einheit arbeiten können. Für das Auslieferungslager sind Ausführungen mit einem
Zufuhrbereich von bis zu 3,5 Metern (VePack PHV 26), geeignet für bis zu 4 Personen, lieferbar.
Die VePack 200-PHV kann als eigenständige Einheit oder als Mehrfachsystemlösung mit integrierter Logistik
geliefert werden. Alle Systeme können mit Etikettier-, Stempel- und/oder Druckgeräten zur Verfügung gestellt
werden. In Kombination mit dem vertikalen Zufuhrsystem können auch ein integriertes Sortiersystem (nach
Gewicht und/oder Größe) und ein Folienlängen-Optimierungssystem zur Verfügung gestellt werden, durch
welche gewährleistet wird, dass keine Produkte mit zu geringem Gewicht verpackt werden und somit Kosten
für Warenrückruf, Arbeit und Folien eingespart werden.

The most cost effective way of packing Iceberg Lettuce is to do it in the ﬁeld. For this BrimaPack has developed
the modular VePack 200-PRV with vertical infeed system. At ﬁeld level the workers cut & clean the lettuce and
put it in the infeed system in front of them. The produce is then transported to and packed by the packing units.
Die effektivste Art, Eisbergsalat zu verpacken, ist das Abpacken auf dem Feld. Zu diesem Zweck hat BrimaPack

The Atlantis header system is based on the most conventional harvesting systems, and can easily be used on
ﬁelds with different planting concepts. The cutters can be assigned freely (within limits) to the different in-feed
systems, and can be assigned to different rows, dependent on the ﬁeld.

The Columbia header system is customer optimized, to achieve highest productivity. In the optimal situation the

stretch ﬁlm. Stretch ﬁlm packing guarantees you the highest possible packing quality and product visibility at
the lowest ﬁlm costs. With two models, the VePack 200-S and 250-S, Broccoli, Cabbage and Cauliﬂower can
be packed.
With a single packing machine one can realize the same output as 5 persons packing by hand, without reducing shelf life or increasing ﬁlm costs. The machines can be used stand alone, or can be integrated in a complete logistic solution.

StretchPack > VePack S-series
For the packing of Broccoli and comparable products in (none) PVC stretch ﬁlm, The VePack S-series has been
developed. Broccoli packed in the VePack S-series offer the same advantages (high shelf life and low ﬁlm costs)
as hand packing, but the labor costs compared to hand packing can be reduced by 80% on average. Compared to
shrink, the shelf life of Broccoli and its visibility is substantially better, and you can save up to 60% on ﬁlm costs.
The 200-S is optimal for single Broccoli packing and smaller Cabbages. the bigger VePack 250-S can also pack bigger products, such as large Cabbages and Cauliﬂower. With the VePack 250-S XL even Chinese Cabbage up to 28
cm long can be packed.
For the VePack-S series complete logistic solutions have been developed. In combination with our preferred suppliers we can offer you complete systems, with box tippers (in all variations, with or without buffer systems), crate
handling systems, transportation and waste deposit belts, and turning tables. On request all components can be
produced in stainless steel.

The VeCode 660 can dispense labels up to 60 mm wide and 75 mm long, the VeCode 860 can use labels up to
75 x 90 mm. This last version can only be mounted on the VePack P-series, the VeCode 660 is suitable for both
machines. New for 2012 is the possibility to combine the VeCode with an in-line printer.

VeStamp
For simple text (one or two lines), you can use the VeStamp system. The system can be used in combination
with pre-printed ﬁlm (only on the VePack P-series). The text will always be stamped at exactly the right spot. It
is very easy to manually change the text you want to stamp on the ﬁlm.
Für einfachen Text (eine oder zwei Zeilen) können Sie das VeStamp-System verwenden. Dieses Gerät kann in
Kombination mit vorgedruckter Folie verwendet werden (nur an der VePack P-Serie). Der Text wird immer an
der richtigen Stelle gestempelt. Es ist sehr einfach, den Text manuell zu ändern, den Sie auf die Folie drucken

Banderoles
Banderoles can be used on all VePack S machines. A holder for these small printed roles is integrated in each
machine. Applying a banderole will only take you seconds.. Banderoles give you the look & feel of pre-printed
ﬁlm, without the necessity to pre-print all your basic ﬁlm roles.

With the VeSort series we offer a very cost effective grading system for broccoli and other products. It can
grade up to 60 products per minute, into maximally 5 grading categories. The VeSort combines high cost
savings with an increase in grading accuracy.
