講義の内容・目的
１世界に貢献できるビジネスマン、ビジネスウーマンとして、日本文
化への理解を深め、自文化を英語で発信する能力を育成する。
２南北経済格差 (Economic Disparity)や地球規模の相互
依存(Global Interdependence) など、グローバルな問題へ
の理解を深め、国際対話能力を開発する。
３米国の大学へ留学する際に求められる学際的な教養とコミュニ
ケーション能力、プレゼンテーション能力を養成する。
講義では日本に関する問題と地球規模のグローバルな問題を扱
い、英語をツールとして自文化表象能力(Selfrepresentation)やグローバル・リタリシー(Global
Literacy)を育成する。

講義方法



使用言語は英語。受講生のリサーチと意見発表を重視す
る。視聴覚教材、パワーポイントなどを利用する。
教師主導型でなく、双方向でコミュニカティブな講義の実
現に努力し、受講生諸君の積極的な参加を期待する。
受講生は主体的に調査研究したリサーチ・ペーパーの骨
子を英語で口頭発表する。
成績評価基準
出席及び授業参加態度４０％
プレゼンテーション３０％
テーマに関するリサーチ・ペーパー３０％
以上の３領域の成績を総合的に判断する。
