First aid instructions for someone
who has a seizure.

Please cushion their head.
Protect them from injury.
Do not put anything in their mouth.
Do not move them unless they are in
danger.
5. Once their seizure has finished, put them
on their side in the recovery position, so
that they can breathe more easily.
6. Stay with them until they are fully
recovered.

It is not usually necessary to call an
ambulance for them.
Please only do this if:
1. their seizure lasts for more than five
minutes
2. they go straight from one seizure to
another
3. they are injured.
