Juni 2015 – München Übersicht der Panelistinnen und Panelisten Born in Chad, Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim is an indigenous woman from Mbororo pastoralist community of Chad, She is a Coordinator of the (AFPAT) a community based organization. Hindou is a member of the Executive committee of the Indigenous Peoples of Africa Coordinating Committee (IPACC), which She is a representative of the Congo Basin Region, with a background in indigenous peoples' rights and environment protection with the three Rio Conventions (Biodiversity, Climate Change and Desertification) with multiple responsibilities. Many publications, consultation, articles and documents write in these areas. Hindou is Expert in adaptation and mitigation of Indigenous Peoples on Climate Change, traditional knowledge on the adaptation of pastoralists in Africa, expert on women and climate change in Africa. Also she is Policy board Member of the United Nations- Indigenous Peoples Partnership (UNIPP) and also member of Reseau Climat & Development and RPP Chad National committee. She is the chair of recruitment and Co-Chair of the Pan-African Alliance Climate Justice (PACJA). She organizes 4 International workshops the 3 pass years on Sciences knowledge and traditional knowledge, she conduit a 3D participatory mapping with UNESCO, IPACC, CTA, CI and Chad government. She works on the 3 UN languages, French, English and Arabic. Jan Kowalzig ist Referent für Klimawandel und Klimapolitik bei Oxfam Deutschland, eine unabhängige Hilfs- und Entwicklungsorganisation, die sich über konkrete Projektarbeit, humanitäre Hilfe und politische Arbeit für eine gerechte Welt ohne Armut einsetzt. Jan Kowalzig verfolgt seit Jahren die UN-Verhandlungen für ein globales Abkommen zum Klimawandel und dort insbesondere die Verhandlungen über eine Klima-Finanzarchitektur zur Unterstützung der armen Länder. Bevor Jan Kowalzig Ende 2007 zu Oxfam Deutschland gestoßen ist, war er mehrere Jahre in Brüssel für das europäische NRO-Netzwerk Friends of the Earth Europe tätig und betreute dort den Bereich europäische Energie- und Klimapolitik 1 Sabine Minninger ist Referentin für Klimapolitik bei Brot für die Welt mit dem Schwerpunkt Klimawandel und Entwicklungsfragen. Seit 2008 verfolgt sie den UNFCCC-Prozess zusammen mit Partnern aus dem Globalen Süden. Von 2004-2012 war sie als Beraterin von Partnerorganisationen des Evangelischen Entwicklungsdienstes zu Klimaresilienz in Südostasien und Südpazifik tätig. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt auf Klimagerechtigkeit, Klimaanpassung und Klimafinanzierung, seit kurzer Zeit auch auf den Umgang mit klimabedingten Schäden und Verlusten. 2
