The week of December 15 we will be having a couple of
special activities to celebrate the Christmas Season.
Students can bring their favorite stuffed animal and wear
their pajamas on their Pajama Day. On Thursday,
December 18th we will be having a Sing-A-Long in the
auditorium at 2:15 p.m., followed by class parties at 2:45
p.m. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Mrs. Ortner-Tacky (or not so tacky!) Christmas
shirts/sweaters on Thursday! Wear your jeans!
Mrs. Jackson-Thank you to the volunteers for
helping to make Santa Shop a success. Please
check your child’s backpack each day. Thanks.
Ms. Stamper-We are looking forward to PJ Day on
Monday and our parties on Thursday, the 18th!
Mrs. Westbrook-Check your email for information
on Winter Party, December 18, Thursday.
Mrs. Love-Our story this week is “Symphony of
Whales”. We are working on suffixes in spelling and
in math on Telling Time/Calendars and our
multiplication facts. We will take our multiplication
test on Friday. We will also be taking our spelling and
selection tests on Friday. All students are supposed
to read and take an AR test on a minimum of one
book per week unless it is a really large chapter
book. Some students are doing an outstanding job,
others a good job, some a poor job, and several are
not reading and testing at all. If you would like to
know how your child is doing, please let me know.
Please send your money ($3.00) for our holiday
party in by Friday, if possible.
Mrs. Price-Tackiest sweater/sweatshirt Day is this
Thursday. The semester is drawing to a close.
Please make sure your child has submitted all
assignments.
Mrs. Brennan-The 4th grade Christmas play was
amazing. Great Job 4th grade and thank you Mrs.
Jolly and Mrs. Albert. We are looking forward to
wearing ugly Christmas sweaters on Thursday.
Mr. Gorbet-The 4th grade did an awesome job on
the Christmas Program. Thank you, Mrs. Albert and
Mrs. Jolly.

and Happy New Year! Thank you for sending in
goodies for our party and special events.
