Principal’s Message
I would like to wish everyone a fabulous Christmas or winter break. The students and staff
have had a very busy past couple of weeks, and are in need of a well deserved break. My hat
is off to our amazing staff at Pinewood for all the hard work and time that went into organizing, practicing, decorating and perfecting the Operetta, “The Big Chill”. We are hoping that
parents, grandparents, caregivers, family friends, etc., will be able to attend one of our two
showings.
On behalf of the staff, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tracy Baldridge,
Principal

Christmas Concert Times
We will have two performances of our Christmas Concert “The Big Chill”.

We would like to thank the Pinewood Parent Advisory Council for all their hard work during the school year. PAC
members and parents have been very busy with the Cash
Calendar fundraiser, hot lunches, organizing bottles drives,
and much more.
We would also like to thank parents, family and friends who
supported Pinewood School by supporting the various fundraising projects. The money
earned helps support divisions, school activities, student bussing, playground purchases

1. “HELPING HANDS CHRISTMAS HAMPERS” - Thank you so much to everyone who
has donated items to the St. Vincent de Paul hampers. They will be greatly appreciated
by the many families in need. Well done Pinewood families!
2. “SPCA DOG BONE TREE” - Our tree is filling up with dog bones. Mrs. Baldridge and
two leadership students will take the money collected (so far we have over $78) to the
SPCA on Thursday! The dogs and SPCA thank you very much!
Ready, Set, Learn
We are looking for a volunteer to facilitate our Ready, Set, Learn program in the new year for
3-5 year old children. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Baldridge. You must have a current
criminal record check done with the school district.
PARKING LOT SAFETY
For student safety, please remember that the parking lot is NOT to be
used to drop off or pick up students. Please park or drop off along
Campbell Ave or Olds Street so that students can use the sidewalk.
The first row of stalls near the school is reserved for staff parking
only. If you must park in the school parking lot, please use the row
facing Campbell Ave.
