The new Racquet Centre for The Hurlingham Club Newsletter 01 – Christmas 2014 Welcome This is our first newsletter that aims to keep you informed about what ISG are doing at The Hurlingham Club, any particular milestones and how the work on the project is likely to affect you over the coming months Project description The New Racquet Centre will replace the existing covered courts with a new facility which provides 4 indoor LTA specification tennis courts with a viewing gallery, 4 WSF approved squash courts, a MUGA, reception area and changing facilities. The building is designed to be energy efficient with a curved green roof with brickwork facades that compliment the existing buildings in The Clubs grounds. The project will be completed by Christmas 2015. News/Updates Demolition is now well underway and is hoped to be completed before we close for the Christmas break. Our site offices are established with the remaining hoarding to be installed in the New Year. Once we return from the Christmas break ground works will commence in preparation for the new steel frame which is due to start arriving in March 2015. These newsletters will be provided for members and close neighbours of The Hurlingham Club, to keep you informed of activities that will be taking place on site during the construction period.
