APRIL 18 GARAGE SALE AT THE CLUB AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BLBC FUND RAISING COMMITTEE Hi everyone and Happy New Year. So, if we are really lucky in April we are going to raise a lot of money for the club and gain some new members to boot. On Saturday, April 18 (please mark that date down somewhere) we are going to be holding a HUGE Garage Sale at the club!! And you can really help!! We are asking you to donate collectible items, such as sport collectible items, china and other keepsakes, as well as new stuff you got as gifts that you really don’t need or want! And we want small furniture items that you can carry yourself, pictures and household items that you no longer want or need. And what about camping stuff! The more you donate the better! Now here’s what we don’t want!! Please do not bring us books, clothes, shoes, broken or chipped items and things that usually sell for a quarter and only take up lots of valuable space!! This is a wonderful opportunity to help your club in an easy and really satisfying way. We will be collecting sale items at the club the evening of April 11, and from April 13 to April 17. More reminders about donation times and dates will be coming out in February and March. In the meantime, please start organizing your stuff for the sale. You will be amazed at the number of things you and your family and friends have lying around that we could use to raise cash. Talk to you again soon and thanks for helping.
