Mirsad Djugum and all the brethren from Regular Grand Lodge of Bosnia and Herzegovina, please find below information related to natural devastation that have been struck our country. Presently Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing a terrific natural disaster caused by heavy rains. A large part of the country is flooded with water and a large part of the population is at danger. Some cities are completely flooded, while in others the water has reached the high stories of buildings. Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes in different parts of our country. Around one third of the population is endangered and there are human casualties. Many parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina are without electricity and water supply and the mobile telephone networks are out of function that makes the communication difficult. The police and the army are in the field helping the endangered people. Troops and special teams from different countries have come to aid the citizens of BiH. Help has been announced by number of European countries with the aim of preventing a catastrophe. This natural disaster has also flooded roads and caused many landslides on roads that have completely blocked road traffic. Unfortunately a big part of the population is out of their homes as a consequence of this catastrophe. The landslides have caused the destruction of a number of homes. The Temple is flooded and most of its inventory is irreversibly destroyed. We believe that we, the Free Masons cannot stay silent to the great tragedy that has hit the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina so I am inviting you to provide your support according to your possibilities.
